Great drone, I have the regular version. But I have the Mobula 6 HD and Mobula 6 regular. I love the HD version but I figured I didn't need this one. I do think that the Mobula is a little better, pretty close though.

Gday Nick, great review awsome flying/cruising i really like these 65mm hd whoops as well, this one is a bit on the expensive side but which do you prefer mobula 6 hd or the betafpv 65mm hd overall package, awsome that you now have a gaming computer to make your video work easier and faster, the spare fpv camera bracket is a different angle i think one is 25 degrees and the other is 35 degrees, the 65mm hd has been out for a couple of months now, great job mate.👍🛸

I have had very good luck with the BT2.0 connectors . On 450 mah batteries and up I am getting almost a minute more flight time as compared to the PH2 connector

Thank you. I do believe we can add crossfire. The non hd version of this quad does have an option to buy it with crossfire. They both run the same board the F4 AIO 1s FC. I am not sure whey they don't offer crossfire as a purchase option.

Great video, it helped me decide to get the Meteor65 HD as my first FPV quad! My plan was to use it as a "newbie's first cinewhoop" and practice for the eventual bigger quad with a better camera, but I've found the camera angle is very high for low speed flying indoors or proximity flying outdoors. Do you know any hacks (or parts) that would let me lower the camera angle?

about the only thing we can do is to either focus on the lower part of the goggle view, or somehow glue the camera in at a lower angle.

@@NickBurnsFPV Thanks for your response! Since replacement canopies are so cheap, I ended up shaving a bit off the front of the spare and tying it down to the front of the frame with a twist tie. It looks like a hack, I can see the frame in the very corners of the image (this will likely not be noticeable once I stabilize), but the lower camera angle makes a WORLD of difference for my control. Now I'm easily flying under chairs and landing the quad on my lap.

Good afternoon. I recently got this drone, mostly chose it because it shoots HD. In Betaflight, I found only Angle and Horizon modes for him, how can Aiir/Acro be called? I will be grateful for the answer

if angle and horizon are not active its in acro. Air mode can be turned on in the configuration page of betaflight. air mode means the props are always spinning when the quad is armed. This allows us to do zero throttle moves and still control the quad. Like flips, and rolls, and dives.

@@NickBurnsFPV even at 1200 that's a good deal. All AMD system, they've gotten their drivers figured out finally, the 3800x is a beast and the 5700xt is a good 1440p card. For even better rendering you could up the ram to 32 but it isn't necessary. Prices on this stuff should come down even more in the next couple months when supply of the newer generation settles down.

How the hell to open camera menu through the smartaudio feature? Is default resources are correct assigned? Also my whoop became hot at canopy, especially wwhen powered from USB. Is it broken or OK?

Camera menu? The camera setting are accessed via the control board, not through radio stick commands. Micro vtx do get hot, don't leave them plugged in for long without air flow, meaning either a small fan or flying.

You have factory selected in VTX table so it will default to factory if table is incorrect. Ripping in the house as usual. Love it!

Hey Nick, awesome review as usual! I grabbed up one of these the other day over at DroneCampsRC's studio. I don't think there is a way to solder a pigtail to the camera board. The ADC is not the same as the OSD controller connector. You can use your sticks to get into the settings though. Throttle mid, yaw right. I had issues with getting into that. The header pin on the FC was not soldered on properly, 3 pins were missing solder completely. Fixed that up and stick commands now work. Anyway, thanks again for the great review! And congrats on the new video editing rig, makes a HUGE difference.....10 mins vs 6 hours, priceless.

I have owned one since they were released. I have all the produced cinewhoops. This one is the best BY FAR. Only thing that rivals it is my Tadbole HD I built but it isn't really a cinewhoop.

Now that you have this great new PC, you should really look into exporting your videos at 2.7K to maximise KZbin's available bitrate, it would help a lot with these split style cameras and DJI digital DVR. Maybe even limit it to 30fps to squeeze out the best quality with most bits/frame. Btw yeah that thing has been out for way longer than 8 weeks 🙂

That was pretty funny your son acted like nothing happened on the 1st 2 passes, but on the 3rd he jumped a little, made me laugh. Your rates can't be high, or low, their just your rates, lol yaw is about 400 degrees more than mine, and I fly with mine all the same, easier to remember for me. All in how you train.

I would need others to comment on that, if your referring to the outside flight there is some movement, especially when the wind picks up. Inside should be smooth or at least a smooth as this quad produces.
