Honestly the only album they've put out that's flat out bad is their "All The Right Reasons" album. Everything before and after that has been pretty good in my opinion. Don't get me wrong that album has a few good songs but it's arguably their worst album, especially when you compare it to Silver Side Up, Here and Now, or The Long Road albums which are imho their best albums ever released, especially Silver Side Up.

I absolutely love Nickelback, I don't understand why they get a bad rap, there are worse bands out there, but I don't see those bands ever getting picked on. For some reason people have a real issue with Nickelback, I just chalk it up to people who have very limited minds and can't think or go "outside the box" for their music pleasure. Being born in 1970, and not really getting into music seriously until the 1980's, this just might be me, perhaps no one else looks at it this way, but in the 1980's I loved Def Leopard, owned all their CD's and went to three of their concerts. To me, Nickelback seems to have that Def Leopard vibe, simple lyrics, strong riff's, nice ballads and pure energy. So people out there can keep hating on them, I love them, so does my lovely Wife, sometimes I find her streaming Nickelback in the kitchen while making dinner, just dancing and playing air guitar and lip syncing some of their songs, all the while cooking a wonderful meal. Nickelback........I'll eat to that!

skip2175 they've always had this side. silver side up was fucking amazing. same with fight for all the right reasons. they actually learned a lot from Dimebag and the rest of the guys from Pantera. they even have 3 songs with Dimebag solos (one being after his death, vinnie sent them an unreleased solo to use on their song Side Of A Bullet where Chad is in an alternative universe and dimes killer is alive and Chad is gonna shoot him.) Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains also loves Nickelback and has worked with them.

Nickelback has to make more metal songs, Chad has a good metal voice. I think the reason they're getting so much hate is that his voice doesn't really fit the genre that Nickelback plays normally. Nickelback's metal covers (for example Sad But True) sound way better than their own songs.

-Why- does this band get so much hate. .. I have been a fan of NB since I was very young! Nearly 9 years later and I'm still listening to these guys. I fell in love with the beautiful rock beats and Chad's voice. Don't forget the meaningful lyrics. I can't believe the band wagon for hated is still rolling around, it's very pathetic. I've heard "NB sucks" back in high school all the way to today. They are not a bad band and they've done absolutely nothing to warrant such hate -_- Everyone is entitled to their opinion, sure.
