Okay, the “each one has unique storylines” for the campaign has me interested. When I heard it was going to be rouge like, I was really worried it was just going to be a smash bros world of light situation, where there was an overall plot but the individual characters had zero relevance or presence in the story besides just being the player’s interchangeable avatars.

I'm getting generic classic mode vibes from its explanation -pick character -shows them at home stage or something -gets sucked into portal -go through randomly generated fights with a mini boss/other different type fight halfway through, then main boss at end -unlock new character and other rewards I would love to be wrong and it's really an adventure mode thing similar to subspace or the very least melee adventure mode but I doubt

My guess for the remaining 6 are; Odie (already repped but unexpected), Jon Arbuckle (already repped but WTF pick), Dib (already repped but unexpected and cool pick), Otis (unrepped pick), Mr. Krabs (new Spongebob), and Zuko (mystery pick). New Garfield reps are unexpected by most, but seem likely considering the series popularity (and Jon would make a great "meme" pick much like Hugh was in the first game). I can see Invader Zim getting a new rep even though I don't see a lot of people talking about it, and I think Dib would be one people wouldn't expect, but would like regardless. Otis was a pretty popular pick on fan polls, and could maybe fit the niche of being a new big-body heavy fighter on the roster. Either Mr. Krabs or Plankton seem like the best choices for a new Spongebob rep, but since this game is having boss fights, Plankton could be a boss while Mr. Krabs is the new fighter. Finally, Zuko for the mystery pick is a bit of a shot in the dark, but he's popular on fan polls, a new Avatar rep makes sense (especially with all the new Avatar projects in the works), and Zuko completes the 4 elements. Aside from those, it's good to hear that the character you revealed is getting in. That character was a high-up pick for me, not only because I liked the show the character comes from growing up, but also because I feel like this character could have a really fun moveset and playstyle.

(Sorry in advance for the long comment lol read at your own discretion) For my character guesses I’m loosely basing on your list of “leaked” characters and also on characters I think are the most logical choices mixed with ones I think would be funny and cool to see in the game. When it comes to character most likely to be picked from returning shows, one would be the Loud House. For this show I think the most logical picks for characters would be *Luan* and *Luna* because I think they’d have some creative movesets. Though based on what you said only one of them would be added to the game so my final guess would be *Luna*. I’ve also seen some people guess Clyde which I hope is NOT THE CASE no offense but I think as a fighter he’d be pretty lame sorry Clyde 😥 For SpongeBob I think the next fighter SHOULD be Mr. Krabs. But I also think they have enough “main” characters for now and could be saving him for a DLC character or might not think he is good enough for a spot. So for another possible guess, *Larry the Lobster* or *Mrs. Puff* are the only two I can think of off the top of my head that are worthy enough for a spot. *Plankton* and *Gary* miiiiight be possible but I can’t comprehend how they would add them since Plankton is so small and Gary is a mollusk 😂. Maybe they could give Plankton one of his robot suits? But that’s not all my guesses for SpongeBob. No, I think the WTF character PapaGeno mentions is from SpongeBob. I’m betting everything on this and I will be overjoyed if I’m right but what if they added *BUBBLE BASS*. No one would EVER think of Bubble Bass but he would be a hilarious addition to the cast. Not to mention SpongeBob recently released an episode with Bubble Bass in it so it’s not like they’ve forgotten about him. He would also be an amazing option for a bigger Heavyweight character in the game since in my opinion they’re not adding Mr. Krabs. If I SOMEHOW end up right I swear I will always play him and try to be the best Bubble Bass main. Fanboy and Chum Chum: Less likely because I think this show is more niche than Back in the Barnyard but it was a popular show during it’s run and I think *Fanboy* and *Chum Chum* together as a duo would be a cool choice to see. I can see their movesets involving those slushies they’d always drink and there are lots of potential stages to create from this show as well. Mighty B: Okay this is SUUUUUUUUUUUCH a reach and I don’t even know if anyone else remembers this show but me. But it was a late 2000’s show starring *Bessie Higgenbottom* and it would be INSANE if she somehow found her way into All Star Brawl 2. I mean personally I think there have been stranger choices (Oblina lol) so it’s not impossible! And this is the third time I say it here but I’m all for moooooooore girl characters! Penguins of Madagascar: NOPE NOT POSSIBLE. There’s like a 1% chance they’d put one of those characters in the game. I think Madagascar is owned by Dreamworks anyways but technically there was the show that ran on Nickelodeon in the 2000’s. But yeah I wanted to list it on the 1% chance I’m right. If they’d pick any character it would probably be either Rico or King Julian for me. But *TLDR;* I’ll reply with my final guesses in the next comment.

Taking a shot at guessing the characters: 1- El Tigre. (Accidentally confirmed). 2 - Mr Krabs (Spongebob rep). 3 - Timmy Turner (New series). Safe choices out of the way: 4 - Zuko ("Mystery character", rounds up Avatar reps). 5 - Arnold (Cool pick?) 6 - Valerie Gray/Ghost Hunter from Danny Phantom (Unexpected?) 7 - Lunch Lady Ghost (Recurring side character in Danny Phantom, as the WTF pick). Here’s my guesses: SB rep: Plankton, it’s really between him and Mr. Krabs and I feel like Plankton might have more to offer in a move set. It also adds another villain which might be useful for the story mode. New series: Rocket Power. This and angry beavers are the last two big “Nickelodeon nostalgia merch” series not already represented and I feel like the team would opt for a fighter based on extreme sports than the beavers. I didn’t watch rocket power though so I’d have no clue who it’d be. Unexpected and WTF: Asami and Momo. the only series currently in the game that are big enough to warrant two new characters are SpongeBob, TMNT, and Avatar and considering that both SpongeBob and TMNT are being taken care of already that leaves avatar. I picked asami as unexpected as I feel people would be inclined to pick characters from the original series rather than Korra as well as picking benders on top of that. Given the comment about how some of these picks will be controversial I’m inclined to think that someone from Korra will be picked and Asami made the most sense, though this could be katara or azula as people would probably expect katara not to get in due to her similarities to Korra and azula because people would expect zuko to get in first. As for Momo, it’s the most WTF pick I could imagine. While there are meme characters like the cabbage merchant who would make sense you saying that it was someone no one has asked for made me suspicious. Surely, someone has memed about cabbage man but Momo seems to far out there. This would also tie back into the controversial picks comment you made, that they’d pick an animal over the other popular benders…or it could just be verrick but I already gave the unexpected slot to a Korra character and I don’t feel like rethinking my logic. Cool Pick: Sam from Danny Phantom. Vlad being the main villain of the story mode inclined me to believe that Danny will be receiving more love this time around so I just picked Sam as she was playable in previous nicktoons crossover games though this could just as easily be one of the many other ghosts like skulker, ember, ext. Mystery: Timmy, given how much the devs seem to be listening to feedback I feel like they’d put the effort in to make it happen. So yeah those are my guesses.

My Predictions: - El Tigre (very excited for his comeback!!) - Kevin C. Cucumber (wild guess, but could be someone notable too like Krabs or Larry) - Odie & Binky the Clown (The unexpected & WTF inclusions. I'm guessing it's Garfield getting them as the devs are huge fans of Garfield and could easily see them pick more reps for the lasagna-loving cat.) - Luna Loud (Unexpected, but cool choice. I can kinda see you not finding it too expected, but still neat regardless.) - Obscure Nicktoon rep (If it's a new unrepped franchise it would be somebody who isn't considered to be really DLC material like Timmy, Otis, or any popular 90's Nicktoon currently absent among them ) - Arnold (Given you say it's any character, I expect it's a pretty safe choice from an existing IP.) - Zuko (assuming we don't get Vlad as a playable and that there's another spot open, he makes logical sense to be included too as he's a pretty highly-requested pick.) Also, I'm gonna go bold and say the roster will not have mostly any playable villains with everyone but Shredder returning. Both Shredder & Vlad being just bosses for the campaign mode.

My guess for the 2 unexpected characters are from the Avatar franchise. Zuko is the obvious choice, but for unexpected, they could go with Sokka or Katara or Suki. Would still make people happy, but not the most fanservice-y. As for the "wtf" character, I'm putting my bets on the Cabbage Merchant.

But with both Timmy and co being owned by another company, Nick likely wanting to distance themselves from Butch as much as possible by now (and thus why we only had Danny before and now Vlad, and devs likely had to beg Nick to let it happen) and so on, we're likely never getting the Jimmy-Timmy power hour moment to finally happen again.

A few things about Nick Brawl 2 got me thinking: I wonder what the movement's gonna feel like. I know the devs said in an article from Polygon that the game has analog movement, a la Smash, but I'm curious if you'll still be able use the D-pad for digital movement and whatnot. I noticed that grabs in this game seem more akin to Smash, which kinda bums me personally, because I liked being able to grab in the air. I can't count how many times I've grabbed people on landing rather just throwing out nair. Lastly the meter: I know it'll be used for supers and "Slime Cancels"(this games version of Roman Cancels from Guilty Gear IIRC), but it makes me wonder what EX versions of characters specials will be like and how they'll balance out the meter in general. That being said, here's my wishlist in no order(I think some of these characters would just be really funny to have in the game): Leni Loud(The Loud House) Henry & June(Kablam!) Otis(Barnyard) Did(Invader Zim) Grandpa Lou Pickles(Rugrats) (Okay, but like, imagine if his super's literally Akuma's Raging Demon but he takes you on a fifteen mile walk)

Alright my guesses: Spongebob Rep: Either Mr Krabs or Plankton to round out the main cast. New Series Rep: Timmy Turner. Need I say more? Cool Rep: Seeing as how Genos didn't expect it I'm gonna guess a 2000's rep, but it could be anyone. If I were to narrow it down to 3: Vexus from MLAATR, Calamitous from Jimmy Neutron, and Iroh from Avatar. Unexpected Rep: Knowing their love for 90's franchises, I'm guessing they found a way to get the babies from Rugrats to work. WTF Rep: Stu Pickles. Imagine the moveset potential with all of his toys and gadgets. Mystery Rep: If it's a new series rep, I imagine they'd throw in the Angry Beavers, but I'd love something more unexpected. If it's a returning series rep, I'm guess Zuko from Avatar.

Sorry in advance for the long post, but I've got a lot of thoughts on this so... yeah One thing worth noting about Leonardo in the NASB2 trailer is that the logo on his belt doesn't match with Raphael and Donatello. Both of them have a black circle with their respective initial in white, whereas Leonardo's is a white circle with their initial colored in his respective color, in this case being blue, which matches with his design from NASB. Given that the stage looks updated from the first game, however, it seems unlikely that this isn't footage from the new game, so this discrepancy could just be chalked up to being earlier footage before they updated his belt logo. Or perhaps there's a high-fidelity setting for the first game that makes the stage look like that, who knows for sure As far as character cuts go, I think Oblina and Shredder might be the most at risk. While not hated, both characters aren't that popular with most fans. Oblina is a bit too obscure for most and Shredder's moveset has been seen as somewhat clunky and awkward, plus assuming we get all four Turtles and April that leaves TMNT with 5, so maybe they consider that good enough. Toph is also a bit of a weak link since, while she's not hated, she's often seen as a weird pick compared to Zuko or Azula, and she's often very low in the tier lists. I'm right there with you that I hope none of the returning characters get cut, but if there were to be cuts, these are the ones I see as being the most likely In terms of the characters you've outlined, I believe they could be hinting towards the following: - The Spongebob character is either Mr. Krabs or Plankton. Both characters are the logical next step after Squidward, and both have plenty of potential for their movesets and, of course, numerous memes. I could see it going two ways: Either we get Plankton in the base game (riding a mech to compensate for his diminutive size like in the Super Brawl games) and Mr. Krabs as one of the DLC characters, or we get Mr. Krabs for the base game and no Plankton. Mr. Krabs would be fitting as a DLC character because he's all about money, so having him as something you need to pay extra for would be fitting. Also, Clancey Brown is known to be a bit hard to get from time to time due to scheduling, so it'd help balance it out. But I could just as easily see them having him in the base game instead of Plankton, since he's easily the more popular character of the two - The two unexpected characters from the same series is a bit tricky. I'm assuming that when you say two characters you don't mean a single fighter made up of two character a la Ren and Stimpy (Daggett and Norbert for example), 'cos as funny as that would be it also would be a bit misleading. As such, I feel there are two possibilities that seem somewhat likely: The first is Odie and Jon. Despite being one of the biggest IPs Nick owns, most people don't expect that we'll be getting not one but TWO more characters from the Garfield franchise. Both would be unexpected, but Jon in particular would be a pretty off the wall character, especially compared to Odie. Nobody really expects Jon to fight, so it'd be very WTF for most people. Jon would also fit as a sort of meme character, since the NASB team loves adding those The second is Clyde and another Loud House girl. While plenty of people are expecting Loud House to get a new character in the game, especially with the new Loud House stage, it would be pretty unexpected to get TWO new Loud House characters as opposed to one. Since there's at least 15 Loud House girls to choose from, any one of them would be unexpected, and Clyde seems like a pretty unexpected character as well since, at least from what I've heard, he's not the most popular character among Loud House fans (despite showing up in two Nick racing games). As such, seeing him added to the roster would certainly blindside some people. - The different already repped series character that's pretty cool would have to be Zuko. While not unexpected by any means, Zuko is a character plenty of people would be happy to see. The fact that we have a stage that is intimately connected to him certainly bodes well in his favor - A character from an unrepped series who isn't El Tigre could be anyone, but I'm hedging my bets on Otis from Barnyard. Otis really fits the bill for being the kind of weird, out-there meme character that Ludosity loves to put in these games, plus he's very highly requested so he'd be a perfect fit for base game. Of course I could also see him being added as DLC instead due to the high demand making him something that fans would actually spend money on - And the character we know nothing about is... well, you've got me there. With nothing to go on, even intuitively, I have no clue who this could be. Could be Timmy, could be Dora, could be literally anyone Last thing I want to touch on is your thoughts on Stage Theory. While I still believe it has significance in terms of which characters from which series are making it in, especially since it worked out rather flawlessly for the base game, I think it's also entirely possible that the stages in question might not be for who we'd expect. For example, the Loud House castle stage might not be for a new Loud House character, but instead it's a new stage for Lincoln, and the old Loud House stage will be retired for this game. If I recall, that stage wasn't too popular with players, so perhaps they decided, if they're starting from scratch anyways, they might as well give Lincoln a better stage while they're at it This could also mean the Sun Bridge stage from Avatar might be for Toph or Azula instead of Zuko. The two unexpected characters could the Fanboy & ChumChum and SwaySway & Buhdeuce as duo fighters. Both would be unexpected, incredibly WTF and would be the kinds of character the dev team love to add, that which being dumb meme characters. Also, since nobody wants them, they'd be the kinds of characters nobody would be predicting. And as for DLC, I have no clue what that could be, so I'll refrain from that until we see the complete base game roster
