Finally! He looks freaking awesome. Love the moveset and the charge/super armor mechanics. Bad ass city intro. Love the stage reference, and the music even sounds like Mark Mothersbaugh! I bet you they wanted to do Reptar on Ice as the recovery instead. Can't wait to main! REPTAR CEREAL HYPE!!

These attacks look so meaty. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy was my first main with how cool he looks and with how much you can do. Aerial Down Special is just a completely different attack in every way.

@yossarian Strong attack interactions don't apply for specials. So Reptar's 30% Down B is almost uncontestable.

@yossarian You definitely don't want to be spamming *strong* attacks when using him. His Down _Special_ on the other hand does a flat 30% damage on hit, but more importantly his Up _Special_ starts on frame 3 making it the fastest recovery in the game thus far with a rising hitbox, making it very akin to the hated frame 1 recovery move of Mr Game & Watch. Reptar's Up _Special_ is likely to be one of the best combo-breaking and get-off-me options in the game. Also Hugdriver and other command grabs moves are Patrick's thing, not Reptar.

@@vinniesucks nah it is dedede up special without the grounding part. His aerial down smash looks good and is similar to Greninja dair. But what I would say he is more like Charizard and Yoshi outside of the two moves similar to other smash character moves. We haven't seen his grabs that much so DK comparisons are just kinda bad unless he has DK-like throws, as in they are similar in animation and how they are used. Bowser is only a good comparison for the massive damage because Charizard has some moves that are similar to Bowser, but lack the damage. Though a lot more of moves are similar to Charizard in animation compared to Bowser.
