gosh as much as I love modern day cartoons I can agree with the fact that all three networks have no interesting personality. every bumper and ident now are so safe and by the numbers and have little to no crossovers or anything. Come on bring back Nickmas and slime idents, bring back CN City, bring back original shorts that play in between commercials. i want to see bumpers like Lincoln Loud meeting Harvey Beaks and Spongebob and Finn meeting Gumball or Steven Universe. And I love Golden Wolf animation and all but seriously give that studio a break... sorry for the rant, but yeah I wish the networks would bring back idents and shorts like those

Probably in part to claymation being expensive and time consuming, along with the fact that most new Nickelodeon shows don't last long enough to be considered big nicktoons, and the kids wouldn't recognize the older characters.

Sigh... Back when Nickelodeon was still fun to watch. This was my favorite era of Nickelodeon, so much nostalgia with seeing all these different Nicktoons on screen at once, for fun and sometimes hilarious promos. Now it's a bunch of live action Disney Channel rip offs, and a bunch of ugly gross out cartoon characters, and Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents are the only classics still going.
