My late grandfather picked up the Marx Big Rail work train at a yard sale in the late 90s. The crossing gate was missing and the only thing that was left of the station was the platform. Everything else was there and I remember setting it up whenever I want over. I don't know whatever happened to the train set I'm going to guess it was giving away at some point.

Fun video, i grew up in the 70s and 80s and yeah every Christmas i wanted a trainset. I would cut the page from Sears catalogs and circle the set I wanted and hang it on the fridge . My parents did get me a couple sets and today 50 years later i have a model railroad.

Not really, some modern-day commercials have model trains. Tho the days of model train manufacturers advertising their newest stuff on live T.V are indeed dead. Nowadays they usually posted them on their own YT channels.
