I think the music in the corridor segment was exactly on point. It was an intentional contrast... A bit of tongue in cheek. The cast and crew were obviously having fun with it, as they always seem to do. And the four and one half Vulcans gag was hilarious.

It's also a copy of episode one: Strange New Worlds. The Enterprise crew must find missing crew members from another ship, who were taken captive by a new species that hasn't had proper first contact yet. The Enterprise crew must take injections to look like this new species in order to infiltrate.

Carol Kane invents an accent for her characters, just like her voice in Scrooged. She is hilarious! I've been a Trekker since the early 1970s and it is good to see the show with the right mix of comedy and sci-fi drama. Some Trekkers won't like the show, but it is the right mix for me. Considering one of my favorite episodes of TOS is, of course, The Trouble With Tribbles.

About the music, you forget that the reason vulcans suppress their emotions is because they are so dangerous if they don't. The transformed humans would not be used to doing that.

I believe the "Hall Walk" music is suitable if the Vulcans involved were acting like the warlike, violent Pre-Surak/ Pre-Sundering era ones. Scientists say some of our modern human DNA is left over from earlier forms of man, so, then it could possibly be that Chapel's Vulcan serum included "Pre-historic" Vulcan DNA in it. This scene feels like what happened in TOS "All Our Yesterdays" when Spock went "Alpha male" on McCoy and claimed Zarabeth for himself in the cave.

I like your channel but let me just comment as an African American on Uhura and hair. Nichelle had to wear her hair a certain way in the 60s to confirm to the white standard of beauty. I would be shocked if Celia ended up with that look again. Let’s do some head canon to say African women like Uhura were free in that century to wear their hair naturally and were no longer conforming to someone else’s standards of beauty to correct the errors of TOS ( due solely to the racism in America at that time)

Their hair style change is a bit dumb and how there trying to explain how they are feeling when there changing into Vulcan as if there trying to give as a running commentary throughout their experience and why wasnt they put on a bed laying down when giving the injection yet doing it standing up knowing it's going to change them and going to be in pain it's just another poor dumb writing. Would've been more professional made by seeing them slowly change while laying on the bed like how they done it with the incredible hulk back in the 70's tv show but with today's technology these people have know idea with this star trek show. Such a big shame they just haven't got any imagination of professionalism for this show the whole scene of this clip looks to be made for laugh like a comedy why can't they take star trek more on a serious tone than doing stupid ideas yes i agree another dumb episode to watch lol
