I wouldn’t put any hopes to see t’pol returning as the actress hasn’t acted for years but did voice her character in lower decks final season

Maybe it's because I've never seen LDs but I hated this episode. It was basically everything that has gone wrong with SNWs in the 2nd series but turned up to 11

There is only one person that can bring Star Trek back to it's glory. Someone who understands the franchise and has the ability and talent to make Star Trek fun again Seth McFarlane. The Orville was absolutely amazing.

What worries me is that it is related to Star Trek Discovery.

The filmmaker’s had a choice: make a TREK TV movie that resembles “THE SPY WHO CAME INTO THE COLD,” or an AVENGER movie with comic book overtones. Looking at the various trailers and teasers, it looks like they have chosen the latter. A huge mistake if true. TREK will NEVER be 007, STAR WARS, MARVEL, DC or MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. TREK ALWAYS WORKS BEST being cerebral first, then adding the action, adventure, comedy, cheese… later. This is what the current TPTB don’t get. I sense a failure. I just hope the damage will be minimal.

I could not even make it a few seconds into the trailer before they slapped my in the face, AGAIN! Sick of this. It's not Star Trek. I AM RE WATCHING "THE MOTION PICTURE" RIGHT NOW, and loving every second of it.

Ambassador class silhouette in the ready room is not the same as the USS Enterprise-C we see in the episode. The original Ambassador class was designed by Probert. TNG designs was taken over by Sternbach at the time of this episode. Due to time and budget restrictions Sternbach decided to simplify the ship and made something similar to the Constitution class.

How often does Kurtzman give us anything that actually LOOKS recognizable as Star Trek, beyond a smattering of anachronistic easter eggs? He dropped in a an alien from Cheron and a guy with pointy ears. What more should we want? That said, I am curious about this one, so I will watch it with an open mind. But my expectations are low. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Very cool episode! Mostly because it gave us Denise Crosby back in an awesome role! She was one of the best antagonists in the series! Really enjoyed the deep dive!

OK now let's finally watch the last season so I can forget about this show, it started great but it went downhill after the second season. Only thing remained good are the visuals, they always look amazing.

My only quibble with the episode was Wesley's presence. Him ending up on the ship by fleet assignment rather than as a child of a crew member kind of broke my suspension of disbelief. Still my favorite episode of the Trekverse.

The movie was decent/ Although the being as G'kar on the rim was a bit of a mess if it was meant to be Lorien. Seemed to be much older that that.

I always assumed it was because the Enterprise C showed up to assist the Klingon colony and dipped and disappeared which is why the Klingons went to war with the Federation, because the Enterprise C "chickened" out mid battle attempting to save the Nerendra 3 outpost

Section 31 idea was always off the mark of core what is Starfleet. In the last few years its all distopian. Starfleet under Paramount is no different from any other, may as well be Skynet. Maybe thr show runners just dont get it? We'll see.

This is an interesting review of a great episode. I’ve always considered Yesterday’s Enterprise as one of my top 10 favorite episodes. The only thing that ruins it for me now is seeing Whoopie Goldberg, and knowing what utterly awful she’s become today as a regular on The View.

Glad you did this video. I hadn’t seen this episode in awhile and all the talk of the Lost Era in reference to the Section 31 film brought up that I was confused as to how Sela was in the original timeline. This explained it.

It doesn't look like the Trek I'm use to, same with Discovery, but I'm willing to give it a chance. Just because its something that I'm not use to, doesn't mean it won't be good. I do think that they should've given this movie a small theatrical release.

Somehow I think it won’t even be vaguely worthy of a cinema release. It’ll probably be like a double tv episode at best.
