John is quick to express his belief that Nickie Quaid could be hurler of the year, with Eddie adding that his ‘quarterback’ style has been a strong point of Limerick’s.

No one forgets other great teams, This is the best team ever though. Without a doubt. They can beat a team man to man. Short. Long. Character.With so many injuries That great kilkenny 4.in a row has it piss easy in leinster. Then.they faced a declining waterford team.and a not great limerick team in finals, Limerick have to play.ALL.yhe.best teams on the country EVERY year! That kilkenny team never had to come from so far behind in games so often and just flick a switch. Their half backs are scoring 3,6 points EVERY game,, from the backline! Never will see a team like this again.

As a Limerick supporter I agree with John, Clare had a lull in energy v Tipp and us yesterday but I still feel Clare can get the energy back and go on to beat Wexford and Kilkenny this year this is a very talented Clare team.

They are good but the free taking and goalkeeping issues won't go away. Fouling in their full back line also an achilles heel.
