Carlo’s sadness and frustration really resonated with me, it made me quite emotional. There is a sense of normalcy that I feel watching your vlogs. We are all just people ,living our lives the best way we can. With honesty ,you portray life as you see it in your Amalfi Coast . No doubt you edit but at the same time you somehow maintain a genuine representation of who you are and how you feel by the very simple thing that bring joy to everyday living. But not the steps 🤦‍♀️ I haven’t watched TV for years and this pandemic has exhausted movies for me so the moments you give are so refreshing. This world is full of distressing human behavior these days , too much ,everywhere. Often we must remind ourselves of the goodness in people . Stay real . I was just reading an article about arsonists and was surprised to find that about a third are women. I had only heard of men starting fires around here. Lovely lunch you cooked up. They have encouraged people lately to try and go "meatless" now and then for health and the environment....it's a good thing! Nicki, another gem! I laughed my socks off when you said that getting to the butcher was tricky for opening and closing times. Positano is ageless, I had such issues getting antipasto from the butcher, he seemed to be just closed, about to close with no antipasto LOL - I worked around it in the end. When I was in Italy I was very impressed by how the way of life was so simple, yet it is all a person needs. That's the point of it all! We need to love our family, care for them, treat others with and animals with respect! And love everyone as we would want to be loved and treated. I was embraced with love and kindness when I was in Italy! I would move and live there forever if I could. One day I sat and talked to a mother and her son at a local restaurant for over 4 hours! We just talked about life, our children and all the good things in life. It was an experience I will never forget. I heard someone say once, its not about just living life, but did you live your life with passion! Italian culture is about love and passion! Very well said Carlo! Mother Earth is the only earth we have and we as humans take such awful care of her. The idea that someone would set a fire intentionally or to your point hurt another person by taking their life, raping them or just not having love for another person is so horrific. When we take care of the earth it gives back to us double as these videos prove. Just look at all your beautiful garden provides you and others in your family. Ok I’ll get off my soapbox now 😊. Kudos to Carlo!! I was a firefighter for 25 years and trust me, it is No Fun putting out those fires. Now I am old and my health is paying for it too! We all need to be kind to our environment.

YES Carlo! you are so right. I live in Colorado by fires that have been going on for weeks now..there is ash and soot on my patio and plants..the air is smokey. I can't imagine what it must be in California where there have been arsonists starting the fires. I agree with you Carlo in that all of these humans that do bad things to others should just leave the planet..I pray it becomes true..they should just vanish or vaporize into nothingness..think of what a wonderful world it would be without bad people. Thank you for expressing yourself..you are a wonderful man.

Nicki, I absolutely love seeing your real life: gardening, cooking, etc. it’s my dream to live in Italy where you can grow almost everything you need. Do you make your own olive oil? Wine? What a healthy life with all that walking, climbing!!
