This may sound a bit strange, but it seems a bit more respectful for their deaths to stay out of the limelight because of how the media has been over the past few years. At least this way their families have had the chance to grieve without all the extra attention and have the opportunity to process it on their own terms.

Well, there goes my childhood...so MANY wonderful memories (I tried to avoid this video too until I couldn't). As my beloved brother (sadly also deceased in '89) and I were then both 'latchkey' kids, we found so much joy from watching these stars on TV (back then it seemed that the main movie cable channels were HBO, TMC, Showtime & Cinemax...and that was it for our TV movies besides Blockbusters & afterschool specials, though we were pretty busy with school activities and/or working; Atari was around & Nintendo was starting to make a huge name for itself). I know all generations say this but I really do wonder how the shows have since compared to the wonderful decade that is the '80s. May everyone in this video RIP (my 'big brother too)!

I watched Night Court new, and wish it would be on MeTV or Antenna. Also liked Growing Pains, and watched it new. Always loved the show Designing Women, more so the seasons with Charlene. Anthony on it was a hoot.

From the thumbnail and from some of the comments before even looking at the video description or viewing the video I knew that I would probably know about most of the deaths listed. I was right, there are only 3 maybe 4 names I didn't recognize but upon seeing their faces recall hearing about their deaths. Now days you have to be under a rock to not have heard about a celebs death. Or the celeb was popular many years before you were born and you never saw their work or didn't realize you had seen them.
