We all love Nick. When he speaks about communication here....Communicating....well I am not a very good speaker, I'm much better as a writer so mainly I use the video description box for what I want to get across. I do use the video part for visuals. I think we all need to communicate how WE do it best. Nick is great in front of a camera, so I see why he does that. :)

Been watching your channel for some time but here's my first comment. KZbin can be addictive, dispiriting, frustrating, baffling, and satisfying. If I didn't enjoy the creative process so much I'd have given up long ago. Yet I battle on and enjoy the new acquaintances I'm (painfully slowly) making. Thanks for the tips!

Appreciate this man. Starting a new long form content channel and watching your videos to help me out on the journey! For me, speech has always been a stuggle for me so creating content I struggle a bit BUT it turns out that with the "vibe" that my videos are presented my low soft speaking voice fits pretty decent and I was shocked how many people accually enjoyed that. Although, I do need to work on my communication skills and what im accually saying.

This is great. I struggle with the communication part with my videos. I need to change my audio and learn how to upgrade my videos. I did invest in a camera, tripods, new mic, and boom. Thanks Nick! This video is full of gems. It is also a great example of the types of videos that I struggle to execute. I can put together "how to" type videos, but put me on the screen trying to explain a topic and my videos just get boring. You have simple editing, basic lighting, limited b-roll and graphics and are not giving away an island, but it was engaging from start to end. I am sure there was a lot of time and effort into this, but you made it look easy...or at least gave me ideas to work into my videos. Thanks again!

Nick, You know what would be cool? If you could sort the music in creator mix so that we could use it for the advice you give at 4:20. Which tracks have that build up from fast to slow, gradually getting louder to build excitement? How do we find the sections of tracks with the dynamics and the tempo changes?
@GavinKohAquascaping Жыл бұрын
@agribusiness6780 @agribusiness6780 I use Storyblocks to find and build my sound tracks. In there you can see the wave form of the track, you can filter for types of instruments, mood and tempo. It's worked well for me. There are also other platforms like Epidemic Sound that are less expensive if you are just looking for audio only.

I think what I'm learning too is that when you are making videos for others it's different when you point the camera at yourself because it's always kinda more difficult to see what you're doing but easier when you're building something for a client. But I agree with the comment field being very useful. My first videos I literally had people complain my audio was really bad. But it's okay because it helped me learn.
