Who cleaned their boots this week? This month? This year...?

I dusted and greased my Task Boots with the little-wittle grease sample you included a few hours ago!

When you do a heel stack repair is it possible to change the height of the heel?
@davechuasoup3 жыл бұрын
Beautiful work! When you hammered wooden pegs into the heel block, were those supposed to seal the original nail holes so that you could nail the next heel cap into the same holes as before? Many heel caps have pre-positioned holes you are supposed to hammer the nails into after all, right?

Any idea when the 1964 roughout is coming??? What leather are these boots made out of?
@Dan-u1l3 жыл бұрын
Just wondering, how many heel resoles would you be able to do on a pair of boots before the heel blocks would need to be replaced seeing as they are sanded down as well, provided the user doesn't wear into them.
@Richardlizhu3 жыл бұрын
I also noticed that they sanded the heel block down a lot, and I can't help but think that that was a request, because I don't see any reason they had to do it, just speculation from my part though, or maybe the rubber they used this time around was thicker than what they had on before?

Dear Nick's Handmade Boots, Huge fan of these new videos and the revamp of the KZbin channel. Also a huge fan of your product. Please make sure your employees are wearing their proper PPE when using your machinery. Especially if you're going to make that video public. Great work otherwise. Your craftsmen make a great product.
@nicksboots3 жыл бұрын
Will do! Yes, do emphasis PPE. Sometime the camera throws off the routine. Good catch!

Why do you have such a big bucket of water when you cleaned the boots with saddle soap? You barely touched the water, and not enough to dirty the water.
@RoastedHVAC3 жыл бұрын
It's likely the best way to catch splashing water and soap during the scrubbing process...
