I have been suprised how fun these events are for the family. My kids love them. There are good life lessons to be learned about giving all you have, even knowing you're about to get completely smoked by someone who actually runs regularly. I have also been surprised and delighted how supportive Nick's subscribing community is. Nick puts on great events, makes them fun, and inspires people to get active. Keep it up everyone.

I don't run much of any significance (at least not since my ACL popped a few years ago). I do belong to a crossfit gym and attended classes about 5x a week. I've never done track events so I'm out to get some benchmarks for fun.

You rock Tom! As a (eons ago) former D3 runner, I have only recently started consistently running again with the hope of racing/seeing what I can still do. Watching you out there kindles some of that hope and makes me wonder why I waited so long. Sadly, you are still younger than me. These are some of my favorite videos to watch and hope you keep rep'ing for us older guys!
