For some reason this comment keeps disappearing but: Hey Nick! Today I set a new PB in the 3000m with a time of 12:38. This time last year I was running 14:30 and only made the last spot for my age group for my school team. It was also around this time last year that I first saw your videos. Not only was I instantly hooked but you inspired me to go out and try my best and work hard towards some good times. Sinse then I have run 4-5 times a week consistently with no let up. I just wanted to let you know that your videos are amazing and inspire many people like myself to put the work and effort in. well slightly fast considering its actually 1209 meters where the time was taken from. Its a 1609 meter race not a 1600. or in better terms a true mile race. so at 1200 he was probably like 3:20 haha

These kids are runners and obviously have strong respiratory systems, would probably recover from COVID with moderate symptoms, or even worse, be asymptomatic. I hope running with Nick was worth risking contracting the virus and spreading it to their families who may not be as healthy as they are. I can't imagine the guilt someone would feel watching their parents struggle to walk up the stairs from all of the scar tissue that developed in their lungs from COVID-19 :-) but thats none of my business. All love, just being realistic. Why are people pretending like we still aren't in the middle of a global crisis?

Nick, I love your content, but please understand that a lot of HS runners watch your channel and want to emulate you. Most states are requiring pretty strict start up guidelines for HS sports requiring masks and social distancing, and when they see this (from and Olympian and someone with a biochemistry degree) it makes coaches jobs that much harder. Even if you don't believe in the severity of the virus, please do better at setting an example for your subscribers.

As a role model to thousands of children around the globe, wear. a. mask! Show them how to be a leader and lead by example. We are still in the middle of a global pandemic with no end in sight.
