I have a couple CCM 9000 masks and then a GFL. I love that shape but they changed everything after the 9000 era. The fit is just way off to me. Tried an axis on and it felt super weird. Might treat my 9000s to some new foam and hardware and rock them for a bit longer 🤷‍♂️

Yeah the axis is definitely an interesting mask. I’d love to know what other people who own it think about it 🤔

I've used warwick for 20 plus years and can't recommend them enough, worth every penny. Lightweight, great protection, and they look great.

I've actually been looking at masks and trying to decide what one should be my next. I was leaning toward a CCM mask that I saw, but also considering a Bauer mask. The timing of this video was definitely helpful.

I just recently got the Warrior R/F1 pro mask and it is a really good mask. I’ve taken many shots so far and I haven’t felt much and no ringing in my ears.

Yeah I was in Bauer for a while and wanted to switch it up. My best advice is stick to what your used to if you can haha. I tried on the warrior and it wasn’t for me but I always love how warrior gives you the best bang for you buck with including the dangler.

@@NickTheGoalie_1 Sadly, to stick to what I'm used to, I'd have to convince Van Velden to make masks again. XD Bauer does feel really nice though. The dangler is a nice add-in for sure, though when I tried their helmets on it was like Goldilocks. The sm/med was too small and the med/lg was too large. Found myself wishing they just had a normal medium.

I’m excited to see the final paint job! Interesting note about the Bauer masks, they are shipped to stores with the back plate separated from the shell, that being said, they definitely sit on the foam way better than the CCM/Warrior backplates do in general. The NHL should get you out for the accuracy contest next all star game 😉

Itech/ Bauer all the way. Have only ever had one Bauer though which is my current one. The chin strap rotted out of it in about a month but I actually kind of like it. Only Itech I had that didn’t break was my first one with the dragon sticker on it haha.
