The arcade port came out the same year as Adult Party Cartoon so they wanted to distance Ren and Stimpy from Nick

@@XJLuke765 Pretty much, despite the fact that the Ren and Stimpy race course Race Madness is still in the arcade version, even if it was moved over and placed as the second race course in the 2nd cup, whereas Beaver Fever was placed as the 1st course.

You know, I honestly can't tell the difference between the P.C Version and the Arcade Version since they look pretty much the same besides different hardware specs and that the P.C release was in 2000 "which meant Windows 95, 98, 2000 and Me" while the arcade was running on XP. Still can't tell the difference regardless.

@@superk1660 Good point, the Arcade version has a timer while the P.C and Console Versions are just a normal game. Was just pointing out the graphics look the game between the P.C and Arcade "since they both use Windows and Computer Hardware" I will give the Playstation Version some Credit for adding backgrounds within the race maps though. "which might be lacking in the P.C and Arcade Versions"

My mom used to go to a casino a lot and it had a big child play area I would be at when we went. It had some arcade games in it and I remember playing this. I feel a little stupid for saying the mystery rider creeped me out. Just the mystery and to kid me it seemed pretty ominous. And if I remember the character load screen things, where the character would be outside of a set piece from their respective thing, the mystery riders if I remember correctly didn’t help

Hey, I got this game to work on my Windows XP Virtual Machine, but there's a problem, when I start the game, the game just stays on the NickToons Racing screen (the one you first see before the title screen with the characters driving) but I can still hear the sound.

The game is very buggy on VMs I've even tried but it's a modified version of the PC version. It doesn't allow you to run the launch cfg application to change settings including sound, It's disabled by default. Check for VMware tools and install them in the XP virtual machine. Then that should fix it but the performance will still suck due to the VMs graphics controller having poor optimization while playing certain games.

You see, in 2003 John K (creator of Ren and Stimpy) released an adult only reboot which included a lot of gore, sex and that stuff. Due to the insanely bad reception, they removed Stimpy from this port.

Why are the driving sounds different then the ps1 version

I've noticed that, It might be different because the PC/Arcade version have larger files and can store more than one kart sound effects. Which they could've done better with the PS1 version but they only kept one sound file. The arcade version is just the PC version but with some modifications. Also Stimpy was removed from the roster too in the Arcade port.
