Also Jai: I treated my father with so much disrespect, and did everything in my power to make him feel like a piece of crap, until he had a heart attack and died on my wedding day from all the stress I caused him. Kind of no-longer feeling sorry for Jai at all at this point. That man is bathing in hypocrisy.

@@reelqueerreact The problem is, he's been turning into a huge tool weeks before his father even died. He's not dealing with grief at this point, he's dealing with guilt, and taking it out on Suni. He had no real excuse for how cruel he treated his father before the weeks leading up to his death. Had Jai immediately told Suni that they were brothers, I might have been able to ignore some of his behavior, and some of the venomous hatred he spewed at his father, for keeping a secret from him. Most adopted people don't get to know their birth parents. Adoption agencies keep the birthparents identities private, unless the birth parent left permission at the time they gave their child up. Jai should have just been happy he was adopted at all, and not just abandoned at some hospital to go to an orphanage. He put his father through all of that for not telling him his secret, and then once it became Jai's own secret, Jai has been keeping it from Suni, so every ground he had to be cruel to his father over keeping secrets went right out the window since he's keeping the same secret now. He's just turning into a bigger and bigger hypocrite. Jai is a toxic family member. The world has to revolve around him, everyone, even his mom, has to walk on egg shells, and put their own grief aside, so that Jai doesn't yell at them, because he's the only one allowed to feel grief, and he gets to decide how others grieve, when it's most likely his fault his father died in the first place. I just want Suni to move in with Nicky and never look back. Jai, and his whole family in India, sound so extremely toxic, that I'd fear for Suni's physical safety if he went back to India and refused to pretend to be straight (by growing up) like his father is demanding. HIs father could even steal his passport and documents, to keep him from leaving india, and Suni is aware enough that could happen, because he knows if he goes back, he'll never be able to leave again. Suni needs to stay, and Jai, should go to India, and take over his bio-dad's business. The two of them suit each other far better anyway from the sounds of it.

Suni cancelled his flight, and Jai just kicked him out. Know who has a nice big house to move into. Nicky and his dad. Nicky's dad is already rooting for him and Suni, so I almost feel like he'll be the one to make the offer for Suni to move in, if he sees Nicky floundering on it, out of more self doubt. if Suni is smart, he'll never go back to India. His dad sounds like a stuck up, homophobic version of Jai.
