Bless that fella who fell over and hurt his knee at the start but it did make me laugh, hope he’s ok 😅 I love the brick slip look so I’d do the whole chimney breast! This makes me so excited to sort our kitchen, but will have to wait a few years before we’ve saved up for it. Hopefully sooner rather then later. Another great video guys! Thanks for filming and editing these videos for us, it must be hard work and taking double the amount of time to get stuff done knowing you need to film too. How will you clean grease and stuff off of brick slip? It may look nice to start with, but after a few plates of chips, fry ups, and general cooking splashes, not so great.

Normal brick is really beautiful but I wouldn't recommend it for a kitchen application!! I would recommend a glass brick for cleanness and most probably it will flow better with the rest of your kitchen

@@NickyandHarri we had brick slip style tiles at our old house for the kitchen, easy to clean and looked amazing. In the new house we used actual slips for the fireplace and again, look great. We'd advise either because both were easy to cut, fit and grout/mortar

£309K still - don't go balls to the wall all the time you two. You need a break every so often! I like brick-slip - so long as it's actual brick. I'm starting to see some people applying fake brick slip to some very strange places/angles and it just looks weird. I even touch one once and it clearly felt like coloured sandpaper. 👎
