Something that I would like for Kog'maw would be to make him into sort of the Kirby of Runeterra, a mindless being capable of destroying everything, but through the power of friendship Kog'maw learns to do the right thing, even if he does brutally kill people from time to time. It could make him a good contrast with Cho'gath, both walking insatiable monsters but with completely different intentions.

yeah, imagine him getting picked up by lulu and eventually becomes something good. He would also be an introduction to the void in Bandle city, destroying the yordles houses and had to be rehabilitated like a dog. Which would also explain why yordles hate lulu more than just her being annoying.

They all but forced him to be an ADC to 'switch up the meta', changing his kit around to be more viable bot and he was an absolute monster. They ended up PARTLY reverting him back, still making him a primary a mid/top laner, but still ALSO having the label of ADC along with all the abilities we miss nowadays. *I will forever ask for my pet drake and enemy souls!*

I love AD Kogmaw, probably mostly for the maulding Kaisa/Caitlyn/Zeri Players when I outdamage them. Also the idea of Kogmaw being essentially the highest possible dps of any champion under normal circumstances, feels good.

I remember there was a time where Riot didn't like ap kogmaw and tried to nerf his ap ratios and skew him back into his adc roots. And then a while down the line, undo those changes. Kog has always had an identity crisis and it's sad cause yeah AP kogmaw is imo so much funner

As a kog'maw main i like his cute void puppy skins and all, but I prefer kogmaw himself to be more of a scary mindless zergling that will melt anything in his way. I cant stress this enough, if Riot ever decides to touch kogmaw, it'd of utmost importance to keep his "living artillery" theme - both as an ability for ap artillery mage playstyle, as well as his long range magic damage autos for on-hit team melting hypercarry playstyle. In fact I am in favour of changing his current title from "The Mouth of the Abyss" to "The Living Artillery". Even though I've always been more of a on-hit kogmaw fan, I wouldn't mind a rework switching his roles to main: artillery mage (poke, long range cleanup), secondary: marksman (tank melter)

One simple thing that can help the Maw is being able to cast the E after dyingto slow enemies so at least is more reliable. Or more. Skill expression, I'd you land you Q, the E area do low burn damage or something similar

Pre-update AP Kog'maw was probably my second favorite champ to play just below Singed and above Zilean. I really dislike how they changed his ult. Though I also just quit the game before S6 was over because of how bad they made life for Singed and Kog'maw.

Personally I LOVE AD Kogmaw, Its the champion I've mained for 5 years, I just love kiting with this champion and Ulting to finish him off, maybe its the ADC inside me that loves it, but also as a Zoe player and AP Koggy, I understand AP Kogmaw, Its Fun I know, But it just triggers me alot to know one day Kogmaw will be reverted into an AP Mage, But sometimes its also frustrating to know that his Passive still exists, all he needs is a little rework with the passive and E, in new league he just doesn't fit in, maybe he can be like Kaisa where he can go AP or AD, or it can be a themathic about void champions being hybrid damage

His itemization would be worse for that. AP items offer utility that adds to his playstyle. They have items that are meant to be good with Vel'koz, Xerath, etc. They don't really design AD items to be good for sieging. He would end up in this weird place where they either need to design some items to help him, or he just goes from mediocre to OP if they tune any 1 AD item without considering him.

Oh, I love when adc kog is meta (one of my main adcs), theres nothing wrong with being the machine gun for your team to vield. And why is the playstyle shelfish, you pack enough damage to kill the entire enemy team three times over and if protected properly, he secures an easy win, and YES, his mates also get the win! That said, next time Ill get mid autofilled, Ill try ap kog. Nice video!

It is selfish because everyone has to play in a less fun way to accommodate you. For example if you have a Kog'maw Singed is going to do a lot less running into the enemy team to cause havoc + flip the squishy. No, he is incentivized to become more of a fling-bot that peels for Kog. It is such a lame playstyle by comparison.

Kog's passive is absolutely a bit of a weird one, but oddly I think that it has a place on him. See, Kog'maw is going to die. That's just a fact of nature, you'll just find yourself occasionally in a situation where the character is not equipped to survive through no fault of your own. What Kog'maw's passive does for him, however, is deny your opponent some of the advantage of killing him. Now, it's no Sion passive, but it and one E at almost any level is usually enough to delete an entire built-up minion wave, meaning that killing Kog'Maw doesn't deny him CS in the same way it does other champions, nor does it create the same recall timings. Do I think he needs a rework with a different passive? Sure, absolutely. Do I think the current one is as useless as everyone seems to think it is? Nah, not really.

I honestly don't really like the trend of making Kog'Maw this "cute puppy", like his spit can't melt you down in seconds. ALL his "newest" skins except for Hextech has made him this "cutesy critter". While a skin like that wouldn't be completely unwelcome, the fact that it's the only thing he gets makes me afraid that they're going to ruin him if he ever gets a rework because his vibe now is "void puppy". I have a proposal for Kog Maw's passive: When Kog Maw takes damage, he begins a reaction that generates an explosion, dealing magic damage and a percentage of true damage, in addition, enemy units near him will be pushed away a certain distance by the explosion. If the damage taken is ranged, the explosion will only splash units, dealing less damage but silencing the attacking enemy.

As a person that plays ADC Kog'Maw, I felt pretty bad watching this video, becouse all the shit said about ADC Kog'Maw palyers is absolutelly true (at least in my case) and I didn't realize it until you said it. The worst part is that I overall prefer AP champions, and I have a pentakill on my first and only AP Kog'Maw game. The signals were there, but I didn't notice them until now. Thank you NickyBoi for opening my eyes to the truth. I apologize for my past mistakes. I would promise to be better in the future and play AP Kog'Maw, but I've recently quitted playing league, so I'm not certain when I could fullfill that promise. Good Evening.
