This is because Demacia was kind of founded from the survivors as a mage war or something like that, I don't remember exactly but it was something to do with magic causing massive destruction, so each one of them is biased against magic due to that, they also view being a mage as some sort of affliction that they wish to cure.

7:12 It's wild to me how detailed Udyr's splash art is. Look at that hand that's right next to the camera, there's so much detail in it that it's sort of insane. Meanwhile you look at Jax's splash art and it's just him with a flat background that has... uhh... those look like carved rocks or something? Really makes you wish that Riot would just get to work giving these champions visual updates or ASUs already. Especially Varus, his retconn was so significant that his voice lines are flat out representing a different character.

I still prefer Jax's. Udyr's has a ton of details but no characterization. It is like getting a horrible game from the 2000 and make it 8k. Yes there are more pixels to it but it means nothing, it is still garbage.

It's hard to give Jax and ASU because his kit inherently doesn't fit very well with visual effects. Everything except his E is just so painfully simple mechanically that giving them weighty visuals is almost impossible.

I'm honestly surprised that Corki, Cho, and Shaco still doesn't have real lore to them. Like, Corki can be a pilot from Piltover and have a role there, Cho can be terrorizing parts of Runeterra or at least word is being spread of Cho, and Shaco can fall under the demons that manifested from an emotion or concept like Fiddle or Tahm.
