How do you guys feel about Fremont Street?

Last time I went there was when the Fremont Experience just opened, so obviously many changes since then, including the canopy itself. We kind of prefer a quieter vibe and just never think about going back. Maybe we’ll do a daytime visit when it seems less frenetic. At least we wouldn’t have to do as much walking between casinos.

We love it. Can’t compare it to the strip. You need to look at it like a second vacation spot. It’s like comparing apples and oranges.

I usually stay in Downtown. I love sit there.Even with things not being the same in the past, it's still an exciting place to stay.

Staying 4 nights at the Downtown Grand in January. People watching is second to none and you meet folks from all over the world having the time of their lives. No other place like it on planet earth.

It definitely was! Downtown was much worse the year before, the street was out of control with grifters.

Looks like you had some great weather. Too bad about the issues with the hackers at the MGM properties. What a nightmare that was for everyone. I hope they took care of you with points and comps. Nice win on the Fire Link Re-Trigger slot. Carousel Bar was a great move by Plaza to put that outside at the entrance. Fremont is always a good time, if for nothing more than the people on the street. Always something I had not seen before. lol Nice looking meal at Oscar's. Good Fun. Nice win on walking dead slot. Oscar's is very good but The Golden Steer is my jam, a must try for an old school Vegas steakhouse vibe. Whiskey Liquor Up has some tasty chicken tenders and awesome views of freakmont street. Solid vid again, ty sir.

I'm really glad you had a better time downtown this trip. I enjoyed downtown, but to be fair, you always have to keep your eyes open. Being down town with another couple also helps you have double the eyes so you can relax a little more. Excellent vlog as usual. Thanks for the videos.

Yes, it was an absolute shit state last time we were there, the grifters on Fremont were out of control! Its always more fun when in a group i think.

Love that you guys are enjoying the NFL! We are hardcore Pittsburgh Steelers fans as that is where.im from... A good to cheer for BTW, because they have a huge following around the world! We were in Vegas and went to the game when they played the Raiders, and there was honestly more black and gold than black and silver. As always, thanks for the great vlogs! Hi N&C - We've never been to Flanker - should give it a try - looks good. I wouldn't be playing at MGM properties if I wasn't getting credit for my play there so hopefully that got fixed. Firelink Bonus was excellent!💰 Nice Walking Dead hit too! "Clawing your way back!" Hi Nicky and Claire. Oscar's is a good place for a steak. The Carousel Bar to me just doesn't seem to fit in. I loved it better the way it was before. Haven't tried PinkBox Donuts, but they look delicious. Happy that Fremont Street treated you better than the last time. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Yeah, I'd like to, but as you say, it'd be super expensive compared to other teams. When we visit other places I'll also try n catch a game at some point.

As a longtime (Oakland) Raider fan, it’s hard for me to compliment anything KC Chiefs, but I do admire Patrick Mahomes. Obviously great player, plus seems like a decent guy. If only he wore silver and black. Glad you had a good experience downtown. Nothing like a big win before a nice meal. Everything tastes a little better. And the ponytail got her cut! I do love Fremont usually but do agree it can be hit or miss since the pandemic. I also think it depends who I am down there with. by myself or with a friend it is fantastic as I am a big guy 6'3 and at one point up to about 300lbs so most of the hustlers left me alone but when i travel downtown on my traditional birthday trip with my little sister as I am a little more on edge to make sure no one messes with her.

We have stayed at the Flamingo for years. Rewarded with free rooms and food. Caesar’s has a great reward program. No comparison to MGM. We have never received anything from MGM. Perhaps you and Clare shouldn’t waste time with MGM. Enjoy your videos and excellent information about Las Vegas. And the Flamingo is not a dirty bird. Just saying.

Yeah ive always got some love for the Flamingo, always visit every trip! Had generous comps before on Caesars, but generally prefer MGM as hotels.
