@jdjsjsj80272 жыл бұрын
hard to believe it came out 55 years ago? you really think people 55 years ago were primitive monkeys or something? You definitely haven't heard anything from the '60s other than The Beatles and the songs that have become a stupid tiktok trend if you think like that. please 10s zoomer kids stop calling tvu indie and comparing the legendary band to today's indie bullshit and billie eilish because today's indie music and billie eilish is shit and you dont know about culture and music. I hate these people from tiktok
@vf-tst2 жыл бұрын
@@jdjsjsj8027 Interesting, they were basically saying it's timeless but you instantly went on the bitter defense. Maybe that's your own bias? Instead you can look at it positively, that roots of classics like these can still be found in Indie music of today. You don't have to understand it or like it, but no need to be bitter that younger people are finding and appreciating classic music that they otherwise wouldn't.
@jdjsjsj80272 жыл бұрын
@@vf-tst usually when new people say TVU sounds like today's indie artists, they mean Billie Eilish or people like Lil Peep XD Like wtf? they contributed nothing to the music, they are not creative and they don't sound alike at all and their work is only about being edgy and writing lyrics about being gay and eating xanax for "alternative" 12 year olds who have no other activities than watching tiktok. If people are to be interested in the culture and music of the 1960s, I love that and I encourage my friends to familiarize themselves with old psychedelic music, if zoomers are to comment on a topic they have no idea about, I dont get that and people shouldn't comparing them. Btw you know indie artists who are actually indie and do something comparable to TVU?

@@lamestudiosinc418 I know, and Nico was never a member of the Velvet Underground, she was a guest singer with them as part of Warhol's The Exploding Plastic Inevitable show and sang three songs on their debut album. The band was not happy about Warhol making them perform with her. She was a bit of a primadonna, often making them get onstage late for performances and going off key, though that was probably because she was partially deaf. Still, I must admit I attended 6 of the 15 or so concerts the Velvet Underground did at the Boston Tea Party between '67 and '70, and the full Exploding Plastic Inevitable show at the Savoy Theater in Boston, and I did like Nico's performances. parole française : je me suis promené je ne parle pas trop Ces jours-ci, ces jours-ci Ces jours-ci, je semble beaucoup penser À propos des choses que j'ai oublié de faire Et toutes les fois où j'en ai eu la chance.

I've been out walking I don't do too much talking these days These days These days I seem to think a lot About the things that I forgot to do And all the times I had A chance to I've stopped my rambling I don't do too much gambling these days These days These days I seem to think about How all these changes came about my ways And I wonder if I'd see another Highway I had a lover I don't think I'd risk another these days These days And if I seem to be afraid To live the life that I have made in song It's just that I've been losing So long La, la, la, la, la La, la I've stopped my dreaming I won't do too much scheming these days These days These days I sit on cornerstones And count the time in quarter tones to ten Please don't confront me with my failures I had not forgotten them

Jacksone Browne one of the eras best writers and performers of his own music. the song “Take it Easy” he gave to the Eagles he wrote that! He performs it as well tho thousandsX think its an Eagles original written song- tis not. Is Jackson. I am 9 yrs younger. Have followed and some history on one of all time great writers of song, prose poetic he can do it all. Piano 🎹 Sing , 🎸 etc… followed since high school in the 70’s. Very talented man nothing like the singer songwriter behind his piano 🎹. Checkout the song “ The Load Out” listen what he says about it all and then His Piano!!! Yes! Nothing like Jackson, Carole King talented artists as them and others in this era! Thats all folks…….
