First time I ever saw one from him. Not blistering, but definitely a kick and he got the job in. The no kick thing had been his achiles heel for so long. Well done by Nico.

That was the 3rd/4th/7th fastest ever 3000m times from Nico Young/Brian Musau/Ryan Schoppe respectively at that meet in addition to the 2 fastest ever 5000m times from Graham Blanks & Ky Robinson, the 5000m record by Parker Valby & 2nd fastest ever 3000m time by Olivia Markezich - the resurfacing of the track is clearly paying dividends!

Incredible kick by Young! Looking forward to seeing what he can do for both the indoor/outdoor seasons.

Nice win for Nico. Track season picks up where XC left off--NAU versus OSU. It will be fun to watch.

Nico Young is more than twice as good as he was when he entered NAU. Nico Young had a fantastic run and kick. Wow, I am ready to watch him make the olympic team.

As Brian Wilson might have written, "It's a genu-Ine fact that the Jacks will rule." Thank you FloTrack for posting this but could you maybe slip the broadcaster a little coke next time.

@@terraflow__bryanburdo4547 to be fair the actual results can always be found for free just by searching the meet name and "live results," it's the race video and interviews that they typically gate-keep, which is still unfortunate

Smartest race I've ever seen Nico Young run. He didn't blast to the lead immediately and get used up in the first 2k.
