@@candicefarrington2208 Riiight. I had that complaint you know since the first game. I am almost entirely certain Final Fantasy characters were shoehorned in just to attract attention to the games. None of the characters' personality traits and backstory is there. They also play ZERO relevance to the story. Take Vivi in Kingdom Hearts 2 for example. You can literally replace him with any generic Black Mage....actually scratch that, he doesn't even do any magic, just replace him with any generic human character and you got the same thing. It's clear to me the creators and writers didn't know what to do with them and/or they just didn't care. If they did, they would have actually done their characters a bit more justice. They could have let us explore worlds from Final Fantasy games. So don't mourn them cause these characters were nothing but eye candy.

Its like they switched around Squall and Cloud’s personalities. FF Squall was really emo while KH Squall isn’t really all that emo. But KH Cloud is more like FF Squall in terms of emo-ness.
