I didn't include any footage of the Final Fantasy characters in my KH2 video so here they are are. I love Final Fantasy and knowing some characters were made appearances in Kingdom Hearts is one of the things the originally drew me to the series.

You NEED to beat Sephiroth! One of the best cutscenes in the game is locked behind beating him, and any FF7 fan will LOVE to see it, let alone a fan like you who has a crush on Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa

I would have to agree! After you defeat Sephiroth, then you will have to go to Hollow Bastion to deliver the message to Cloud. Once the message is spoken, come back to the same area where you met Sephiroth and the cutscene will appear. (Sorry if this is spoilers, I just can’t handle myself).

KH can only use Nomura-created characters is the thing. That's why the only FFVI representation is Setzer, because he was Nomura's creation. Not Amano's. Zidane wasn't created by Nomura.

I remember when there were Final Fantasy characters in KH! Those were the days. I gotta say, being introduced to them here rather than their own games, in hindsight it really is underwhelming as we barely learn anything about them and they act like we’re supposed to know them well.

Everyone seems to forget Kingdom Hearts is a crossover of Final Fantasy and Disney

Eh, the FF characters were always mostly fanservice and never the main point. Even as early as 2002 Nomura was telling people it's not a crossover between FF and Disney and is mostly about the OCs and Disney, with FF as just some extra nostalgia bait. Especially considering most of the FF characters in KH don't act anything like they do in their own games. Cloud is way more emo in KH than he should be, Squall is actually less emo than he should be, and Aerith's entire snarky, sassy personality is missing in KH.

I still have no clue why the Gullwings are in this, because barely much is done with them, PERIOD. I have no idea how this Tifa and Sephiroth, who are apparently aspects of Cloud's heart, manifested because they're never explained, PERIOD. ...And I'm still waiting on Rinoa's appearance!

I think that happens to everyone on their first Sephiroth try. I was too young i just fell in love with him once he did his first strike and killed me, then watched my brother beat it. To this day, I have never beaten Sephiroth.
