Nicola Sturgeon and Douglas Ross debate gender recognition reform

At FMQs, Douglass Ross criticised the Scottish Government's actions over the Gender Recognition Reform Bill, which aims to speed up the time it takes for a trans person to obtain a gender recognition certificate (GRC) and lowers the age for obtaining one from 18 to 16.
Ministers want to drop the requirement for a medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria and the need for a doctor’s report. Opponents believe the plans could threaten women’s sex-based rights and be 'exploited' by criminals.

Children are born male and female decided at birth. How an adult chooses to identify is their choice, however children can't decide to have a drink a tattoo, vote, join armed forces . I believe in choice but not the life changing process that can not be reversed at a later date. Should the child Change there mind. This is not bias I myself have trans and gay within my family, if this is what An individual wishes they will wait till they are sure and mature enough to know as adults what they really want. Wonder if you have ever watched videos of young girls who were encouraged to Trans and have hormone blockers who are now desperately unhappy. They feel now they were lied to and that parents were also told blockers were reversible later to find this is not the case.

Why is that young boy speaking as the first minister, wearing a pink suit. I am so confused in this modern world. What next...a fantasy that Scotland should get independence or that having done so would meet the basic requirement for joining the EU. I vote for Scottish independence. But the retention of Shetland, I'm British with a love for Scotland, but we just cannot afford to keep it anymore. England would save £36.4 billion last year alone and Scotland would be bankrupt. Naturally the withdrawing of our military would mean that Scotland could not meet the defence requirement for the EU, withdrawing the currency would mean that requirement would also not be met. The vast amount of money required to supplement rural communities via non dom wealthy estate owners who's wealth generated elsewhere is sunk into passion projects that cannot wash their own face. My dream was to own a farm in Scotland to do it I have to work and live elsewhere, the reason I vote for independence is that I can retire earlier to my Scottish farm as the land will be worthless to everyone but me.
