Nicolas Flagello (Symphonic Waltz)

It's true that that this waltz by Flagello gives off strong Ravelian vibes, but I've always thought that the world could use a little more Ravel. The composer completed the three-part set of Symphonic Waltzes in 1958. Here you are hearing the third one with a marking of Allegro energico. It's actually a world premiere recording by Tatjana Rankovich.
Flagello later orchestrated the music and turned it into a ballet suite entitled Lautrec (1965).
