As a Chelsea Supporter ive been always against signing Osimhen. His style of play doenst fit what Maresca wants from a striker. For almost 300k/week gross his output is just not it. Nico earns not even half of that. He had 23 G/A in his first season in all Comps. If he keeps working on his weakneses he can reach ~30 G/A this season with more games to play. For a 30mil signing thats a statement. He outscored the likes of Höjlund(72mil) , Alvarez(90mil) , Nunez(65mil) or Havertz(67mil) in the Prem last season. Yet rivals keep slandering Jackson. Forget your Agendas for a second. Just try to be objective. Jackson was a winger 18months ago. He got played as a striker for the last like 10 games at Villareal. He doesnt have those "naturel Striker instincts" in front of goal. He has to learn it. Keep working of his convertion rate. And was a 30mil barging signing. He got everthing needed to be a great Striker. Pace, Accelaration, Dribbling, Hold and Link up play, Height plus Bodyframe. He is willing to work hard on the pitch. Helps a lot with the pressing. Drops deeper providing an outlet for his mates in build up. Making lots of runs in behind. Draging Defenders out of position and creating space for his teammates. He "just" needs to get better with Headers and Convertion.

Do you not think it's more that teams facing Chelsea aren't really respecting them? Like the time and space Jackson was allowed for the first goal was crazy in the PL & then the second, West Ham held such a high line for CBs who don't have the ability to track the ST. Yeah I was rolling my eyes,when u guys mentioned Chelsea was f,so what if we sign 20+player,when we do sign enough coverage for the first 18.and even with this it just only for -100 million loses,not counting the pure profit for academy players. Talent stock piling is just going give us revenue from loans etc,but with that being said,having 9 goal keepers was overkill 🤣
