Top 5 Manchester United manager post Ferguson: 5. David Moyes. It's clear he was out of his depth and he was given the impossible task to replicate the success Ferguson had during his time. 4. LVG. He did win the FA Cup during his time but the problem was his football was boring to watch. Tried build a squad around a passed it Rooney, fell out with some of the players like Di Maria, Memphis and De Gea, sold most of our strikers and failed miserably in the Champions League group stage mind you it was an easy group with Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow and PSV. 3. Ten Hag. Like is compatriot, he won the FA Cup and League Cup but failed to set up his system for 3 years and fell out with Sancho, Ronaldo, Casemiro and Varane while trusting McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford and Hojlund to bail him out of a muddy water. Should have been sacked a while back. 2. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. He tried to play the Manchester United way and he had moments like beating Guardiola 3 times in one season, done a league double on Chelsea, comeback wins, scoring goals for fun, back to back top 3 finishes and reaching multiple semi finals and a final but he has no silverware to show for. The Europa League final was the beginning of the end for Ole and we got smashed by Liverpool, City and his final game by Watford. He bled Manchester United but he wasn't good enough to win us major honours plus he allowed the toxicity to fester and tried to be friends with the cancerous players rather than manage them. 1. Jose Mourinho. Easily the best manager we had and he won 2 trophies in one season and finished 2nd place with a terrible squad the following season. It went downhill for him after the Sevilla game. Was screwed over by the board and spoke the truth about the cancerous players we have now.

5. Moyes: Lost the dressing room before a ball was kicked; not trying to keep the back room changes to a minimum was a bad decision 4. LVG: gutted the team and filled it with mid; made me hate football for an entire season 3. ETH: Won a couple of trophies, restored the feeling at the beginning; also presided over the worst United team in PL era 2. Ole: took us joint closest to the title, back to back CL qualification, restored some of the feeling. Never instilled the mentality in the team that they needed to win and take big games over the line 1. Jose: I celebrated when he got sacked but Europa league and carabao cup. 2nd place that was only bettered by 100 point city. Sadly the football wasn't great for the attacking talent that was there. No consistency and it was the true beginning of the toxicity that would surround the club.

The Three Stooges' - Let's puts things in prospective with the last six managers, Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer, Randnick & Ten Hag: Moyes - Out of his depth, West Ham suits him, Van Gaal - should have won the League with squad he had but instead he decided to send everybody to sleep until he got 5th place so the board had to act. Mourinho - even though he was successful that was the worst football we've seen at Man Utd post Fergie that went Toxic so the board had to act so No More Defensive Coaches. Solakjaer - has been the best Manager since Ferguson so we need to appreciate his contributions to our present state of affairs, managing recruits & a sense of direction. Rangnick - Soon as he came should have went straight upstairs as DOF & assisted Ole otherwise Out of his depth. Ten Hag - Winning the FA Cup, EtH knows his chances of staying already & has been the worst Manager at Man Utd for 60 years, we've experienced since SMB. This manager is purposely going out of his way to mess up everything that we stand for so he definitely doesn't deserve to Stay, Win, Draw or Lose on Saturday or Sunday. Get Rid ASAP! So bring back Ole! Ole cos he wanted us to enjoy our football again so we're glad for that & we want want more Vibes football with his new Management team to gain the necessary chance of success! What held Ole back was the recruit of Maguire at the expense of Smalling that cost us to succeed at the Club!
@alvin43032 ай бұрын
My rebuttal to Ole not being an elite manager is such bs. We simply messed things up that third season. If that squad was good enough it would have done enough. Sancho might have been highly rated but look at him since then. Varane the same. Ole could have got us to the top as the job is not just down to him but the background staff too. Ole with this current board setup in my opinion wins more games. His team showed a resilience that has since been lost

Ole hasn’t taken any job cause he reached his end goal. His motivation, getting into coaching all was to one day manage Manchester United - that was his end goal. He got his dream job so what is there after that? Manchester United is the biggest, his dream so how do you go again after you’ve reached your goal? He has had offers but for him it isn’t about getting out there again, more so what can match or come close to it.

The reason United fans can't do this properly is because legend bias towards Ole. Most of the complaints you have about Ten Hag you could say about Ole but at least Ten Hag won something. Plus Ten Hag has had to fix a lot of problems that Ole created. Ole got battered by rivals and rival fans were singing his name. Poor CL runs and he destroyed the dressing room with poor man management and buying crap players. I think people forget how dark that period was.
@donald_19892 ай бұрын
Are you seriously trolling with this video? If you’re talking about bad records broken, how can you not rank Ten Hag last, he has single handedly broken every conceivable record. EtH is dead last, then Moyes, then Solksjaer, Van Gaal and Mourinho. We didn’t get dunked on every week under Van Gaal and with a squad full of reserve players. We had one of the best defensive records under him. People called it boring because we actually retained the ball well, are those same people who cry when the current squad give the ball away thrice a minute. Van Gaal had a system and a philosophy. He just didn’t have much on top like the other managers. Under Mourinho we were scary and difficult to play against, 3rd season aside. We actually looked we could do something. Ole, was exciting at times but he shot himself in the foot with the favouritism towards the end of his tenure. He needed a capable number 2 and had neither at the time in Carrick and McKenna. They wouldn’t have challenged him. Moyes was destined to fail given who his predecessor was. Ten Hag is the epitome/pinnacle of delusion. He got 3rd in his first season because a lot of the teams around UTD were bad, he nearly messed it up too. He has more losses in a single season than all of the others named. He has broken more negative records than all of the others combined and has the fewest goals scored under his tenure. So how can any of them be any worse if you want to objectively look at this and not use your feelings. His failures are unparalleled.

If you watch all the years post SAF back, the team that was the most coherent/cohesive in its play style is easily 20/21. And had the best paid GK in the world been able to save 1/11 pens, nobody would have an issue with that statement. Free-scoring, winning big games as the underdog, creating chances and deploying a higher defensive line than any other side post Fergie. Was it great? No. I don’t know how anyone can expect great given the circumstances of that horrid 2020 window and constant injuries to the best player (Pogba). People judge Solskjaer on his CV, lack of experience at the top level and weird trivial things such as smiling a lot etc. if LVG’s United had the kind of league consistency/overlall underlying numbers that Ole’s did for example, he’d have been praised to the hilltops. Firmly believe OGS produced the best football, league progression and memories post SAF. If people wanna argue Jose is first, that’s fine. But Van Gaal or ten hag above years of stability?
