Booooyyyy.... that's one sick mouse! 🤪 But it's also a really pricey one... 😮 Would something like this suit YOUR needs or is it overkill? 😆

Damn, just logged in on my old account and came across your channel. I remember back in 2012 when you reviewed the MSI gtx 660 Twin frozer gpu. Thanks to that review i built my first gaming pc with that exact gpu. Fun fact that pc still works to this day.

I have a rat 9, bought it like 7 years ago. Definitely a great gaming mouse, but I used mine as a school mouse. It survived all of high school and college. The mouse is fabulous but the tower of the rat 9 was definitely not made to be carried around. Doesn't mean it's bad in any sense, just not the right application for it. The mouse it self still look brand new to this day after all these years and is in my computer case on display and to replace its place I think I'm gonna go with this, simply because the 9 is currently extinct and the 8 doesn't come with the tower which was my 9's failure point.

I only have Madcatz mice for over 10 years, the rat5-7 is just really cool to play with! They can be adjusted and changed wonderfully. Expensive, but not a run-of-the-mill mouse, but individually adjustable.

I've been using RAT5 for 9 years since 2013. Just a while ago transitioned to this puppy and am having a blast. The smoothness of 20000 dpi compared to 5600 took me to the moon LOL. Also on RAT5 I always had to switch its butt depending on activity. I'd fold it for gaming for a more compact grip that allowed precision and unfold for casual mode. With this one I don't need to do that because of increased level of customization. Adjust it for your hand perfectly and your good to go. Best mouse imo.

Looking at this mouse now that I have my DWS, I see an awesome feature: all of the swappable parts appear to be completely interchangeable with the other RATs, which is a huuuuuge boon. I could make a weird black-silver-red hybrid out of my DWS with just some parts from AliExpress if I wanted, mitigating the fact it does not include the palm rest options like other RATs. Heck, I could probably swap out the thumb rest too with some disassembly. Just a pity the same doesn't go for software - the config program for DWS lacks a lot of features found it 8+ like angle adjustment that you showed off.

how does the R.A.T. 8+ ADV differ from the regular R.A.T 8+
@leosypher99934 жыл бұрын
i think its mostly the sensor, the ADV should have 20,000 DPI (i say should, you know how gaming stuff is) where as the 8+ has 16,000 DPI, and the ADV probably has a few luxury additional things here and there, perhaps a couple more palm rest options than the ADV. so does the 4,000 added DPI really matter, probably not but you tell me

I just swapped from my OG Rat 8+ after 7 years using it very often (video editing + gaming), transporting it in laptop cases during school etc And it still works, the problem is just the left clic that started to double tap sometimes and it's annoying for the games I play, but still completely fine for normal usage. Great durability, no doupts about that.

0:36 - ME! this is the only modern gaming mouse thats comfortable for me, all the mice now are way too short, too light, and have this odd slant like the mouse is trying to dump my hand off of it, im currently using a corsair scimitar, its a nice mouse but not very comfortable at all, i had a cheaper mat catz but the scroll wheel wore out completely (2 years of use) so now im looking to get a real mad catz for years i wanted to get a R.A.T. 9 but i did not want to put up with a wireless mouse so now im looking at one of these and i really like it but like most mad catz products, no one has them! im starting to wonder if this company really exists!

lmfao reprogramming macro buttons is "cheating"?? 😂 Dude, are you new to PC gaming or what. Customization of controls is a fundamental part of PC games, to the point where games that don't allow you to do so get unanimously trashed by the community.
