Das ist gerade egal. Ob deutsch oder englisch: Kitsch bleibt Kitsch, Schmalz bleibt Schmalz. Halt die übliche deutsche Schlagerscheiße der 80er. Das Lied besteht gerade mal aus zwei Akkorden: I und V. Ziemlich billig.

@@joshypower Naja, ob das kitschig ist... Es sprach ebenhalt die Probleme und Ängste, aber auch die Wünsche und Träume der Bevölkerung an: Frieden! Diese zwei Akkorde hören sich zwar "billig" an, bleiben aber durch ihre Einfachheit länger im Gedächtnis. Und dieses Lied als "Schlagers heiße" abzustempeln, hat dieses Lied nicht verdient. Wenn du dieses Lied nicht magst, dann gucke dir doch nicht solche Videos an und höre deine Musik. Über Geschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich streiten...

@@joshypower Auch das ist egal. Eindruck und Erfolg kommt nicht auf das Zahl der Akkorden an... Und auch mit fremden Ohren gehört hat man das Gefühl, der deutsche Text passt viel besser zur Rhytmik und Stimmung des Liedes, als der englische.

I remembered her name Nicole I was 8 or 9 playing guitar but I didn't understand German and they wouldn't translate the songs at that time so when I came to America that's when I found out why that word Frieden kept on me it meant peace and then I realized it meant something to me
