That interview was fantastic! Nicole Kidman is my favorite actress! I saw "Moulin Rouge" opening day in a theater with red curtains and I couldn't believe my eyes. After it ended, I jumped up and looked at the older couple sitting next to me and said, "Did you just see that??!" They were exhausted but entertained. It was electrifying! I have been a die-hard Kidman follower ever since. "Birth" is a masterpiece! She has so many knockout films. "Destroyer"....AMAZING, brutal, and so sad and beautiful. I can't WAIT to see "The Northman"!

Nicole Kidman still looks good. To Die For, Moulin Rouge, The Others, Practical Magic, Malice, Far & Away, all of her movies are great. Nicole Kidman started acting when she was only 10 at Phillip Street Theater in Sydney. She also was in Dead Calm when she was 19.

Loved her in the others, practical magic and moulin rouge. My favourite nicole kidman films. I've recently just discovered what a hard life shes had with bat shit crazy tom cruise, not being able to see her kids, her rocky marriage with Keith urban. She has been through a lot but managed to handle it with so much grace. Amazing woman

I actually teared up a bit when Nicole talked about auditioning -“you may not get THAT job, but that may lead to something else.” So needed that reminder, right now. Thank you! Also, I watch Nicole Kidman interviews whenever I need to brush up on my Australian accent for voiceover roles, so this video is doubly helpful and awesome. 😊 👏

Boy she really is so humble, even though she has truly made the big time, she still feels the earnestness of trying to fill the shoes of the role. The thing is she really has made it for quite some time, one would take it for granted that she would of course be chosen, and here she is actually struggling to get the part as if it wasn’t a given. Well that’s just so down to earth an organic, I’m just amazed. And so fully helping the actor opposite her as well because she really does relate to how difficult it is to be in that position. Well I mean what a great gal she is to give of herself like that. Well I fully appreciate that generosity. She knows what she’s capable of surly. Well that’s so top drawer isn’t it? Good on you kiddo! 😳♥️💋🥺wowed me for sure!

This should be a requirement for each student in the arts to watch and learn from. She has long been one of my very favorite actors, male or female. She always makes me feel and enjoy the person she is portraying. Thank you to all concerned for showing this interview for all of us to see.

I really wish she would have asked Nicole more about Kubrick and Eyes Wide Shut. She doesn't really seem to be asked about that film a lot nowadays nor talk about it. I think it's her most fascinating film and role, not even thinking about how it might have affected her actual life and relationship with Cruise at the time.
@brunoliegghio31762 ай бұрын
Your comment is a year old so you may have found it. There is a video with Nicole Kidman paying tribute to Kubrick. She loved working with him. There is also one on how Kubrick was digging deep into Nicole's and Tom's marriage. I may not be recalling this right but I think the movie is also meant to expose their marriage. I've seen the movie many times. To me, it's somewhat apparent. By the way, I think Cruise is a scumbag. The only movies he's in that I've watched are the ones with Nicole. I love Nicole so all sorts of things pop up for me on KZbin. In interviews, I'm watching for the first time I know most of the facts, etc. lol ! As an aside my wife looks just like Nicole. Same physique, height, hairstyle at times, etc. I'm shorter but nowhere near like Keith Urban. If she knew I was writing this she would kill me. lol ! She'll never see it. She's not on any social media.

I’m so glad she talked about the lesser-known roles in her filmography: “Dogville”, “Rabbit Hole”, “Destroyer”, and especially “The Paperboy” - such a uniquely weird and often disturbing Southern Gothic Grand Guignol experience. The only film in which a brassy trailer park bombshell Nicole Kidman urinates on Zac Efron to alleviate a jellyfish sting. It’s role choices like that which make Kidman such an unforgettable actor, she’s truly fearless.

I love Kidman. She is a gifted actor. From the Hours i have learnt that she is a dangerously gifted one... i love her drive and her geeky side! When she is geeky and experiments she is at her best! But, i dont understand why she does not allow herself to age? She doesnt need cash and doesnt owe nothing to Hollywood or the showbizness! I want to see Kidman as 60 years old woman who doesnt look like Michael Jackson... women at the age of 60 have so much to teach us, so how we can play and express them with the fake plastic face? Kidman is so clever - she shortchsnges herself in long term.
