I've heard Prince sing Purple Rain dozens of times at Paisley Park and most of these tributes are so very bad! This one made me tear. I had no idea Nicole had such a crazy beautiful voice. Rihanna isn't a non-singer, don't exaggerate. I agree that Nicole is 100 times more skilled (to be honest Nicole is more skilled than Beyoncé, Xtina and Adele combined) yet it doesn't mean that Rihanna cannot sing. She can, she's just not the best singer. Nicole is a fantastic vocalist but she relies on doing covers of other artists because her Solo career was a complete failure, her own songs completely suck. Rihanna, on the other hand, has a quite enviable discography.

Perfection!! This so far is my favorite cover of this song. There are several others that are great but I like this one the best. Nicole is such an underrated singer! I always believed its due to the song choices for her albums..especially the solo albums. But she is so talented and versatile.
