This is so sick! My wife was born in England and raised in California, and we go to Guatemala a lot to visit family and decompress but she wants to be there for longer periods of time so it’s awesome she can take Spanish classes! Love you guys!

Hey guys! I'm so happy to have met you, thank you again for accepting my invitation to visit Laurel! I'm glad you are enjoying Guatemala so much, this is a beautiful country with ups and downs but we guatemalans bust our backs working for a better future. You guys are amazing and so nice. Saddly there was not enought time to talk and I think I was a little shy and awkard 😅. We really hope to see you again. If you ever come back to Antigua, Laurel is your home and are more than welcome to come visit!

We were so glad we were able to come by on one of our last days in Antigua, our visit was a great way to remember the beautiful city. We are still loving Guatemala so much and can’t wait to continue sharing it with everyone 😃 Thank you again so much for hosting us 🤗

Nice videos in Guate (this is how locals call it). Just some corrections: Guatemala was named in mexican Nahuatl.But the very city they PSaniard got to, was called "Cuatemal in Quiche". Cua= water springs, Temal= Pines. It means "Springs and pines" Other is that buses that were used in the US are stil Yellow coor, since it is expensive to change their color. If they are other color they, sell them as that,they werent in the US. I have been there there a couple of stores where they sell them. The Little Caesar thing. "People walking with one pizza". I dont know if you know but Little Caesars doesn't have tables to eat there. So people who hang around and decide to get one pizza what do they do? go to where? back your house to them come back and hang arround?No body walks outside in the US so there it is different here .

1. Guatemala has a similar migration status for El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua so, when you enter any of those countries you have 3 months in total in THOSE countries as a tourist. Would be fine if you could clarify that for you Canadian guys. 2. Glass carafe = pichel/jarrón de vidrio 3. Funny you call that a cabin when that is a full fledged house and because of the trees and garden, that might even be luxury.

Really well made vid! I would say though that your spending would probably be pretty high to be considered "budget" travel by most people in Central America. It's all relative I suppose.
@nicoleandmico2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I agree that we're probably on the higher end of "budget" travel. I think it would be pretty easy to cut the cost down without a dog and car, and of course there's some fat to be cut out of the food/groceries budget if someone needed. Guatemala seems like a great place for all travel budgets 😊
