Well it's important to know that it takes 7 yrs to become an architect. 5 yrs in college then 2 yrs OJT before the boards. So matagal siya huhu In terms of skills naman, I went into college not having much. Just interest in design, a general understanding of space and amateur drawing skills 😂 Whatever you lack will most likely be taught to you but it's up to you how good you'll be depending on the amount of effort you put in ♥️

Hi Ate! I'm new to your channel ( currently deciding what course should I take) and I'm somewhat interested in arki but I'm not sure if I have what it takes? Especially in creativity, drawing skills (but I can learn tho) and math omg. So I was just curious if they teach those in school? Like will you eventually improve your skills once you put effort on it? I'm just a bit scared coz I know it was a quota course PS. If she replies it's a sign that arki is for me HAHAHA jk

They'll definitely teach you the basics. They'll teach you drawing tips and techniques, they'll teach you the math and physics formulas and they'll teach you to try to be creative during consultations. But, at the end of the day it's all up to you if you're really willing to learn it all and to work hard (maybe sometimes twice as hard as others to catch up). I feel like as long as we work hard and stay consistent, it wouldn't matter if we were born with those talents or not. Good luck Robin! Didn't know you wanted to be an architect like Ted, thought you wanted to be a news reporter. Hahaha jk, but really good luck 🤗

@@ninacortez7892 I loooooove HIMYM! It's legend - wait for it - I'm not quite sure if it's in demand. But to be honest for the first few years after grad the pay will be pretty low. Kasi for two yrs after grad di ka licensed. So the pay is almost minimum. Also, mga kilala kong mayaman na architects own their own firms. So I guess you gotta be willing to put up your own firm in the future 😊 - dary! 😂

I didn't go to UST so I really can't compare. I'm sure each school has something unique to offer and that you'll have different experiences for each. But I did enjoy my time at UPCA tho. Wherever you do decide to go, I bet you'll have a fun time as long as you like what you do 🤗

Don't be anxious! You can do it! Sometimes it may seem hassle and unfair, but I hope you power through. Also, Archi isn't about who's rich. Yeah the rich have advantages but at the end of the day, the ones who make it are the ones who work hard to meet deadlines and the ones who do their best and push themselves and their own limits.
