I never understood why people went crazy with the Jonas Brother, when the Hansons are a trio that not only are Handsome but also have a real talent for creating and playing good music.

I'm not a hater, I don't like putting energy into what I don't like, I prefer to put energy into what I love. But yeah, I find the Jonas Brothers being compared to Hanson a bit awkward. There's simply no comparison except being brothers. Not that I don't have plenty of 'guilty pleasures' myself, I just cringe when comparisons are made when the there is a gaping void between the talent and credibility of the two bands. Much love to the Jonas Brothers, but they should feel very flattered to be put anywhere near Hanson.

@@ReeseGegax Don't remember ever saying pop is a dirty word. The majority of my favourite music is pop music, including Hanson. So this is a totally moot point. The Jonas Brothers lack Hanson's talent and that's a fact. No person with basic musical knowledge would disagree. But like I said above, I'm not interested in hating on things and I certainly never claimed pop music is automatically poorer because of its genre. My music library says quite the contrary, not to mention not all the music I love would be classified as 'high talent.'

Vocally Hanson are extremely underrated but I think that’s because they never gained as much exposure as they should have, post the childhood success phase. That’s partly through choice tho, they’ve sort of kept on the down low for years. it’s their 30th anniversary soon and they’re still only in very early middle age. If the Rolling Stones are the benchmark for longevity there’s a lot of time left!

I remember when these cats came out and all the guff they got , but me and my jaded musicians friends all said "That's one catchy , well written song . These kids are legit." I am glad they stayed active all this time and still have enough draw to do shows like this, they deserve it. That's nothing but hard work and talent up there.

Another thing about Mmm-Bop is that it was written by 10, 12 and 14 year old kids. The songs by other boy bands were written by veteran industry songsmiths yet the pre-pubescents said a LOT more in their song than any of the hits by NKOTB and their stripe. Mmm-Bop won't win a Pulitzer for its lyrical content but was far deeper than its competition.

I remember taking my daughters and their friends to see them in concert. Afterwards I took them backstage to meet them. Living in Las Vegas I've been to over 500 concerts in my life. Even before that I was still the coolest and best dad ever. You Younglings enjoy life and try to let your parents stay parents and love them. When they're gone they are gone and it's too late to say I love you and I'm sorry!😥

Always thought they were underrated as artists/musicians when they were younger. This proves it.

I already commented on this, for some reason it's gone. No matter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for capturing this in its entirety. I am sure this was the most stellar moment in their 25 year career as a band. I feel privileged to have been in the audience.

I’m sorry I didn’t love you enough in 97 when I was 11. I never knew the existence of many of your songs. What a waste, all this time. I’m sorry people looked at you as a cheap boysband less interesting than bsb... I’m so sorry they influenced me. I’m sorry you we’re and still are underrated. You are talent, passion and you aged so well all of you without losing it. God bless you all and your families. I will pay you tribute for what it’s worth from now on. Don’t stop making music

Being a dedicated Hanson fan for 24 years, reading your comment really warms my heart. 💓 Hanson have so much talent to offer. And yes, they are kind people too. They have been making music since 1992. And even though they are not in the mainstream world anymore, still, they make great music independently. They can still sell-out shows from a small, yet tight community of dedicated fans. Hopefully, they would gain much respect from the music industry, now that they have joined The Masked Singer as Russian Dolls. I can't wait for that to happen. 🙏💖

I have a soft spot in my heart for The Bee Gees and turn them up every time I hear them. Not too many groups can take their songs, make them their own, and make me want to turn up the volume. These guys just did it. Mad props to their talent.

Lifelong Bee Gees fan here and I can only say these three brothers with their three part harmony did great singing a cover from the brothers Gibb. The greatest Three Brothers in three part harmony history. Long live the Bee Gees

Tay hits a high C. Probably his highest note of the evening (and probably a very good thing it was the end of the last song).

He’s always been capable of hitting the high notes. Zac too. Don’t think they’ll ever lose that.

The Hanson boys are amazing, and the dark side affiliated with the their surroundings are trying to discredit them. Keep being in the light guys!!!

My takeaway from this, above and beyond the SPEC-TAC-ULAR performance? The fact that they had the ability to have an audience of delighted fans stay COMPLETELY silent through the entire performance.
