I don’t think we appreciated at the time how truly blessed we were to grow up with this music. I thought I was just getting old & grumpy when I began to lose interest in “new” music sometime in the 2000s, but it’s just not the same. (Amy Winehouse is the only newer artist who sticks out for me.) I love watching young people get a dose of what we got to experience. 💕

@@kudabear4898 Even if you dont like the Beatles, we cannot change the fact that they are the best selling musical artists of all time. Also, majority of musicians and critics always ranked them as no. 1 musical artists. It is always The Beatles vs. Rolling Stones, The Beatles vs. Led Zeppelin, The Beatles vs. Queen, The Beatles vs. Elvis, The Beatles vs. Michael Jackson etc... Beegees is great but the Beatles is always on top.

My Honey went to Heaven July of 22. This was one of my favorites long before this. Today I listen to this song often and I see my sweetheart in Heaven with Jesus. She's dancing, smiling and holding our Lord. She is so glorious and joyful.

3 extremely talented brothers named Gibb. The twins Maurice (Morris) and Robin have passed away as well as their baby brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career. Barry is the oldest of the 4 brothers and the last one left who's still alive. They do have an older sister still living as well.

The Bee Gees sang this before auto tune like we have today. Their voices blend perfectly. You are right. Pure, beautiful music like this is a language. It’s the language of the Holy Spirit. No one can sing like they are, where they transfer exactly what they’re feeling to those who hear it, unless they truly mean it. And they did! Wow, that filled me right up.

When I listen to "our" music through a younger generations ears I realize how fortunate we were to experience REAL music. True talent. True voices - no auto-tune. These younger generations are so stunned by our music bc they've been inundated with destructive rap and the use of beats created on a machine - no guitar solos like Slash or groups like Boston and Journey - those voices were AMAZING AND AWE INSPIRING. Makes me smile to watch the transformation. Try some Moody Blues. 3 Dog Night (Mama Told Me Not to Come) too many to name

The Bee Gees are 3 brothers (Barry the eldest in the middle and the other two are Robin and Maurice who are twins). They were born on the Isle of Man and then moved to Manchester in the UK and eventually emigrated to Australia. They then moved back to the UK before later going to the USA. They had another brother, Andy, who was also a singer but he died at an early age. They have loads of songs over many genres and decades and were one of the best at falsetto voices. The Bee Gees also wrote songs for other famous singers. There is only Barry left.
