Hi Nicole, thnx for such an amazing video, im from Puerto Rico and have tried to learn code in so many occassions. I tried team treehouse freecodecamp starting with front end web development and usually end up giving up once I get to the more complex side using javascript and stuff. Any advice or tips I really like the freedom coding gives apart from the fact as u said that tech is only going to keep growing I'm just really tired of trying and giving up, its really hard to work a regular job and study when ur an adult. Any advice is well appreciated, thnx again for the video.

Hey Alberto! So sorry i missed your comment, I didn't realize I wasn't getting all of my notifications (still figuring out this youtube thing). The biggest tip I have is to build a system that helps you create a strong habit and lean into the feeling of discomfort when you are learning more complex things. Its those moments that you grow the most as a developer when you overcome something that scared you or intimidated you! Good luck!!

@@nicoleyoungtech thnx for the reply and no worries I love your videos and appreciate ur honesty, I live in Puerto Rico and here coding is not really a big deal and watching ur videos and seeing the pros and cons, I just feel like coding would give me a certain liberty to keep up with all my other passions and hobbies. Well I won't take more of ur time but I do appreciate you replying to my comment. I wish a wonderful weekend and lots of health and joy, Take care.

Doing the Google IT support program right now just to get my hands dirty, I'm loving every bit of it. Didn't know I will love it this much, especially, being around a computer for over 20yrs. I am at a point where I don't know what to do with my life. College doesn't sound very promising. I have great social skills and would best suit a career where socializing is involved, but I want to prioritize financial stability. I don't know if a career in tech is the right path for me and my personality, but I've never tried to delve into more scientific and technical career paths. Have you encountered people like me in that field?
@nicoleyoungtech3 жыл бұрын
If you want to be able to socialize and are interested in tech, try tech sales! This is a super important job for most tech companies to get their product or software to new customers - that takes a lot of socializing because you will interact with people within and outside of the company to learn about the product and sell it. Plus they make great money and often have opportunity for commission as well. Look into it and keep your head up!
