To be honest. Snus is the only nicotine replacement that works for me in quitting smoking. I quit for a year last time, then slowly fell into the habit again. The combination of a slower initial absorption, which lowers the addiction potential, while still being strong enough to effectively kill any impulse to smoke a cigarette is amazing. And it lasts long enough to only need a few pouches a day. First let go of the habit, then the nicotine dependence.

I quit a nearly 40 year tobacco chewing habit (mostly using Copenhagen) by using a non-nicotine product called Smokey Mountain. Others I know have also quit using this herbal snuff. I was addicted to nicotine, nothing else. I do not think this Snus is a great idea as you still use nicotine and that is an extremely strong addiction! However you do get around the cancer risk of tobacco and that is not a bad thing.

Tobacco products and other Nicotine products like Vaping and Nicotine Pouch products are being restricted in Canada. You try to explain how such products should be sold in brick & mortar establishments where a person needs to be 18 years of age or older to get in. But some governments are too incompetent to go through all of the trouble make the arrangements so they just take a lazy man knee jerk response and do a bunch of bans anyway without doing adequate research. Yet tobacco cigarettes remain untouched. Makes me think the governments are in bed with the tobacco companies.

You may think that the ANTZ-nazis would be more in favour for those pouches, "prillor" in Swedish than vaping because it dosen't "look like smoking" with is very immoral for those puritanical fanatics. And they can't "ban" useage of them outdoors😄

@@mickev2009 Agreed. It's like they demonstrate their ignorance by thinking stupid things like, "Well if Vaping looks like Smoking than it MUST be Smoking!" That just shows how mentally incompetent they really are. They best just leave the smoking cessation products alone and go after the tobacco cigarettes -- there's the real problem. But they don't have the backbone to do that and they probably never will because it seems to be all about money and the abuse of continuous tax hikes with it which is up to $25 for a pack of 25 cigarettes now. Insanity anyone?

I quit smoking with nicotine pouches a few years ago. I am currently using velo 7mg dragon fruit. I think nicotine pouches are a great way to quit smoking.

Smoked for almost 40 years, tried quitting any times. Even tried to get hypnotized lol. I smoked my last cigarette on the morning of January 8th 2022. Stopped by using the ON! 8mg nicotine pouches. The easiest time I ever quit! Over a year later and I seriously never had the craving for a cigarette. The pouches were amazing! I know I wouldn't have been able to quit if it weren't for them!!!!

My husband and myself switched to the pouches, he hasn't smoked a cigarette in over a month and I stopped a week ago. Eventually I want to wean myself off nicotine for good.. Wish the ZYN product could come up with a program to do that, similar to a NRT program that weans you off nicotine. Almost everyone I know has quit smoking cigarettes either cold turkey or substituting with ZYN or something similar.

Only problem i have with nicotine pouches is that they literally destroy my gums. Only product that has been kinda ok was Volt pouches. They have kind of pearls in them. But still they are more worse for my gums than Snus. 😅 anybody else haveing the same exprrience?
