When my kids were little, I had them thinking spring cleaning day was a holiday in which we take all the rugs outside to clean. After I got them wet and put the soap on, the kids would chase each other on the rugs and play slip and slide. I would get the power hose to rinse. Then guess at how many times we would have to rinse till it came out clean. Closest one would get to pick out the special dinner for that night. It was mostly pizza.

Hahaha...how old are your boys? I'm just asking because either way hearing them say it would be a hoot! If they're older & put a little hint of an accent on it would be great. But, if they're still on the younger side hearing them say it would really be cute. I miss that part too because you know that you're in for a nice & relaxing 30-45 minutes!

I think it would be great to see the rug going through the beater machine first, so we can see what it looked like when you first get the dirty rug from the client. Then at the end we can see the before and after the full cleaning.

C'est surtout le goudron qui sali et donne une couleur orange, pas la nicotine. L'odeur devrait être horrible 😷 J'ai déjà eu à laver des vitres dans le bureau un gros fumeur, l'eau coulait orange lorsque je passais la raclette 🤗 le gars m'avait dit: "je ne comprend pas pourquoi les vitres de mon bureau sont aussi sales. Dans les bureaux de mes collègues l'eau ne coule pas orange comme dans le mien." Je lui ai dit que la réponse était sur son bureau en lui montrant son paquet de cigarette. Il a fait une de ces tête 😰. Je lui ai aussi dit que les vitres de son bureau sont lavées tout les six mois, mais dans ses poumons, il n'y a pas de laveur de vitre... 😬

Aah, just had a thought. Show Jakob's videos to teenagers who think it is cool to smoke. First shot, is the soiled/stained rug, titled, "This is what smoking makes you lungs look like", then when the brown, almost black, muck starts draining out of the rugs, "This is what is collecting in your lungs." If that doesn't make them contemplate what they are doing to their bodies, nothing will.
