You know what would make the film even better? If at the end we realize that their mother died as well, but this girl can't let go of her mother the same way her brother cant let go of their father. Just a random idea...

This was wonderful! I had hallucinations at one point back when I had Schizophrenia, they were always creepy and horrible, though. Made me suffer. I love the idea that hallucinations and voices could bring back positive recollections, though. Despite it being an illusion, still good for the soul.

Major symptoms include hallucinations (typically hearing voices), delusions, paranoia, and disorganized thinking." (wikipedia) Schizophrenia is PAIN. This film and its comments prove that this concept has not been well understood yet.

The in the first 2:00 minutes I have so many questions like: Why is he eating ramen with a spoon? Why did he make the noodles if he wasn't going to eat them? Is he aware that there are starving children in the hood that could have eaten those noodles? When will these questions be answered? Tune in next week to find out. 🤔

Too late to reply I also did not understand the plot but then a comment very close to the top helped me understand that the boy used to see his father, who had died I guess. In the end the sister decides to let him live like this without meds which he was already not taking.
