5:46 He said he loves youを過去形に統一しなかったのは、戦死した男性の愛の言葉を奥さんに伝える友人の優しさでしょうか?
@mieuxangie57592 жыл бұрын
He said he loves youはどうしてloves のままなんでしょうか?
I'm not good at indirect speech, so I avoided to use it in conversation. But, your explanation is easy to understand!! Thank you for this video^^ 以下、例文作ってみました。 He said that he would distribute 2 reusable face masks per household. I asked my husband how the plan sounded to him. He told me that he thought it was an April Fool's joke.
I asked him if 〜の場合とI asked if 〜の場合では違いがありますか?? 途中からこんがらがってきてしまいました😭😭 What do you want to eat? I asked him what he wants to eat. I asked what he wants to eat.

Hello, Nic-sensei. Could you please look over this? About 50 years ago, my high school English teacher often told me I need more practice of reading books aloud. In the middle of his talking, before I knew it, I was complaining toward him in a small voice that he was always saying only the same thing. At the time I liked his English jokes, but was sick and tired of his Japanese scoldings. So I didn't care about that. After passing 50 years, I know he was right. It's too late, though. I should've thanked him instead of ignoring. I thank you for giving the lesson.

Thank you very , very much for such a nice video !! At last I understood this kind of grammar and how to use it in conversation. Especially the part after 10:15~ helps me a lot. Like many Japanese, I was told to fit the verbs, like "He says he lives in ~" → "He said he lived ~ " or something like this. That's why I was always wondering how "He said he lives ~" sounds like. This lesson made such cobwebs in my head super clear !! I really appreciate it ! Of course I subscribed your channel !!

I'll ask her if she likes donuts (or not), that is to say I'll say to her " Do you like donuts?".

Question about sequence of tenses. The example on the video. Tell my wife I love her. The friend said to his wife, He said he loves you. In this case, Is “he said he loved you” also ok? Any difference in nuance? Also Is “Tell my wife I loved you” ok? Because he assumed he would died when his friend told his message to his wife.
Yes, loved is also OK in both cases. It's nice to think that love will continue after death, so in this situation many people might not use "loved" but either is no problem^^

You are not interested in me anymore I’m not interesting you anymore .
s .o さんの最初に言った「You're not interested in me anymore.」 I'm not interesting you anymore. I'm not interesting you anymore. You're not interested in me anymore. I’m scared. 私は怖がっている You're scaring me. I'm not interesting you anymore.

Very good!! Great job!! この文脈の場合は「if I saw」のままだと、今回のぬか漬けに限る感じですね^^ ・「yeast」は「yeast fungus」よりは「yeast」ですね^^ She texted and asked me if this white one was mold and if I had seen it.
