I've read the Novel.... and I can say that it's more emotional... I nearly cried reading it.. "2b Died for something like this?" "2b died for a lie"

She always seems to be looking down when she's in a cutscene and it does a close up of her face. Extra dramatic.

Ok but, if Yorha created the Council of Mankind, then who did create Yorha?
@AxisKoi3 жыл бұрын
Androids resistance. Quote from "nier.fandom.com/wiki/YoRHa". "The Council of Humanity was created as part of Project YoRHa: the organization does not exist, and humanity was extinct before the aliens even arrived on Earth, following the failure of Project Gestalt." "The YoRHa androids were first developed around the year 11937[1] by a male android named Zinnia[11], working on the orbital research base "Labo," a replacement for the destroyed sixth orbital base, "Kaguya." Zinnia had previously worked on a radical new android powerplant based on the technology used in Machine Cores, achieving success with the "Black Box" system in 11928."

But playing NieR Replicant, that brings up even more questions. Both of you played it right? I can spoil as much as I want?

The problem I have with Yoko Taro is that in spite his stories being amazing and out of the box , they lead nowhere and they have VERY vague origins.... it's more like Beginning---->Weird Flower------>Cult of Watchers----->Flower Power Goes to Tokyo----->White Chlorination Apocalypse------->Aliens Attack------>Machines take over . Like what the fuck ????? It seems connected but it is very vague . What was the flower ? Where the fuck the aliens came from and why . Flower alien machine connection ???? Hellloooooo????
@AxisKoi3 жыл бұрын
Don't think too deep into it. "Where does god come from? Does demon and ghost exist? What is black matter?" Sit back and enjoy the show.

Nier has a firmly established and explored backstory, just not in the game itself. The games are about the human experience, and if so much lore was put into the games proper it would be about WCS or red eyes or child soldiers. As for the aliens, the flower or whatever else, who cares?

Yoko Taro's storytelling is never meant to be linear and straightforward. The multiple ending already shown that. Any ending could be canon as it takes place in another timeline. Nier Replicant was based off the 5th ending of Drakengard and Automata was based off the 5th ending of Replicant itself. Yoko Taro's story focuses not so much on the plot but on the nuances of themes and philosophies itself. You may be confused by the endings but it will leave you thinking for a long time
