@@_Rndom And if you watch the anime adaptation, it tells a bit of her backstory. A2 used to be cheerful, upbeat, optimistic, and yet always fearless and determined.

Nothing beats the Japanese dub. It's so much better than the English one in my opinion. It's so beautiful and elegant.

I think in the Japanese version, you lose out so much on 9S insanity. He just doesn't sound insane in Japanese. He just sounds dramatic or upset. English 9S really sounds like his life's fallen apart. I mean Jesus christ the difference in voice acting skill behind "don't you think that's funny? Doesn't it just make you LAUGH." HUGE difference in vocal articulation there. "Until you confirm either the death of A2, or myself!" So much more vigor is put into the vocals for English. It sounds like he begins his sentences often with regular thoughts, but gets more bitter and angry at the end of them. Like his inner emotions come out the more/longer he expresses himself. "What do you know? You don't know anything about us!"

You can't lose anything using original voices, because these are the intended ones. 100% vision of original creators. In the other hand, in dub you're losing everything and you have all characters completely altered.
