I was doing this part at level 55 and I heard this theme, it’s so agonizing and beautiful at the same time it made the anxiety of evading and running in circles even more inducing.

This match broke my heart. I lost all stomach for battle in this arena. I cut down what feels like tens of thousand machines but the more I listened to their stories...I feel so sorry for the Machines forced to fight in this arena, the brave rider and his spear machines...how they always go back into formation even when their fellow machines fall...and how the loose all discipline with their captain dead...some of them will just run to the edge of the arena and cower... the machine who lost his daughter and the brothers...with the younger one calling out for his brother...

I also loved the S tier coliseum, the robots saying "You killed my daughter" or " Brother I'm scared!" really made this music for me. The later parts where it shows robots being caged and one of the robots choosing death over this so called "hell" when talking to it. It was all but just beautiful writing.

@@SoulOfDerp oh alright, really looked like popola! And man I agree so much, I played it only like six months ago, but this was truly the best gaming experience I ever had! I've also played replicant recently, while it was not as good gameplay wise (if you know you know) story and music wise it was really good and it added so much depth to some characters of Automata while adding a lot of lore. To finish my monologue on this masterpiece, I don't know if you've watched the anime they made, they released episodes 9-12 Yesterday or so, and damn, they were really really good, huges spoilers for route A and B, (which was an issue because I was watching it with my gf who just finished route A) but damn, those episode hit hard. If you haven't, even if you're not really into anime, you should consider watching it! If you Do, tell me what you think about it :)
