That first high note at 0:37 literally made me tear up from how beautifully haunting it was. holy shit this is a good cover

Recently, we got hit with an Arctic blast where I live, dropping the temperature from around 80 F to about 30 for a couple of days. That, plus the whole pandemic going on right now makes me think of this track a lot. Beautiful cover, by the way!

I've always loved the absolutely haunting harmonies in this piece, but your voice really brings out the quiet despair that you feel during the intro to this game. Incredible work, I'm so glad I found your channel tonight

Oh my god :D this is such an amazing and breathtaking cover, harpyija! Your progress/improvement from Grandma to Snow in Summer is really astonishing! Have you ever thought of re-doing Grandma? Or doing a medley of both of the songs, cause they both have similar notes ^^ a bit like in your Grandma-Cover, but with even more Snow in summer. That would be such an amazing song to listen with your voice! 😄

Double kill per day. Dunno how to describe my feelings, because my English level is kinda bad, but still i'll try. For me in this composition the most important part was a slow and sad melody, but with hard percussion which symbolised a battle for the most important person in Niers' life. Percussion back was all for me, but your cover opened something new and something deep...anyway, just take my like and subscribe, heh.

Have you ever considered doing a cover of Blu-bird? It's such a fascinating song and yet so underappreciated. I remember listening to your cover of that shanty and you made it sound so gentle, not really because of the way you sang it but just because of the way your voice sounds itself. I don't think I've ever heard ANYONE sing a cover of Blu-bird, but I really feel you, of all people, could do it right.

That never crossed my mind but it would be cool to try and see if I can pull it off.

@@harpyijamusic on the subject of birds, there's a classic song from cowboy bebop called Green Bird that might also suit your voice, since it is remarkably similar in instrumentation to this song (mostly choral, slow tempo)

I think I would listen to this a lot more if it didn't have the breathe-ins and the lip smacks. It just sounds like popcorn going off in the middle of a beautiful song... It even gets echoed too. But besides that, amazing job!
