Niesen Treppenlauf - Stair running - World's Longest staircase

Niesen Treppenlauf. 11.674 stairs, 1.669 vertical meters. 4,46 km. The World's Longest Staircase (Guinness Book of Records). "I was there". Photos and film from top. Please 'like' if you like stairs. Comments and questions are welcome. Link to official video below:
In 2022 the event was on the 10th and 11th of June. Friday relay with two runners, Saturday race for individual runners.
After initial turndown, a 2-year wait and more wait on waiting list ... just one month before (when I had given up hope of participating), I was suddenly in the race - corona-out-of-shape and a sprained ankle! Knowing this chance would maybe never come again, I decided to participate anyway!
It was run, jog, walk, slow climb, but I came and 'conquered'; my time 1:46:38 placed me just in the top half of women, 30th of 66. Just shows; it is about wanting to do it and willingness to go on ...
The view from the top and 'stepping' on this particular staircase was well worth it.
