Sirji, its a known fact. Multibagger happens only when a small cap becomes mid cap and a mid cap becomes large cap. Ultimately, identifying such stocks are only thing that matters and that is not easy.

Dear Raghav ji. It will be interesting if you can pull out the list of Nifty 100 stocks or Nifty 50 stocks from 3 years ago and analyse their performance. That will truly reflect the compounding potential of large caps. Similar exercise done with Midcaps and small caps (top 250 smallcaps) will seal the debate forever. Simialar exercise can be done for longer periods as well like finding Nifty 100 stocks from 5 years back and analysing their 5 year CAGR
