Because 93% are option buyers. SEBI should drastically reduce margin for option selling, then more people will change over to option selling. Then this number will come down.

It's a best budget means except stock market all other business are getting fall in BJP period. No job grown in corporate companies, No growth in poverty people. Growth only those who were cheating government in taxes,borrowing bank loan became defaulters. My opinion is which ever the government may be No one could stop stock market growth unknown reason As well as gold price hike. For an example in the budget to Gold import tax was cut,result gold gold go down after few months gold is now going to cross all time high. So All BJP policies are tissue paper only.

If 93% lose money. There is something wrong in regulator and exchanves in feaming their products. one sided products like weekly options. where premiums decay every day afe the " Ir-responsible". Govt if it is trying to garner STT on such schemes would become party to this nonsense. SEBI instead of intervening is playing a meek role in presenting its figures.

Options, the outcome is loaded in favour of institutions that play in a range and an occasional burst of trending move in either direction. The weekly expiry market, liquidity is generated by spiking moves either side to decay volatility thereafter to earn.. And an ever one sided slide of time decay.... The instrument of Banknifth with one odd heavy wwights i loaded in favour of anyone carrying the might of money. tto ine side . these mkts and instruments will be saoon abandoned. being so rigged
